Wow Beautiful hotel we loved it here. We stayed here for 2 nights for my Niece’s wedding, my Dad, my partner and myself. The rooms were fabulous, so clean. Your staff Saraa, Yassin, Dhimant and Deep were fantastic so helpful and polite, plus your reception staff. Ian and I look forward to seeing you again soon.

We stayed at the hotel from the15/06/24 to 17/06/24. I am heavily pregnant and also had a disabled son. I had requested a ground floor room which could have Wheelchair access also, I given a room which was right at the end of the corridor which was quite a walk. The room wasn’t that spacious upon a first glance the room looked okay but when we actually looked into everything we found that the complimentary biscuits and teas had been opened prior to us getting there, which means they had not been changed. When it came to changing the bedding for cleaners to clean the room, they did not change the bed and they left the same bedding on the bed and just cleaned out the shower. When it came to breakfast, there was not a lot of variety I am allergic to egg and would have liked to have things labelled to be honest although there is someone there she was helping a lot of people and it was only her. Also we had paid for late checkout which I called before arriving and made sure it had been put on my room, when I arrived I spoke to the receptionist to make sure it was on my room also but then when it came to the checkout was called at 11 am And told that we should be checking out. The receptionist did not bother to check and see that our room had a late checkout which was quite annoying because this is a service that we requested and checked twice before we started our stay at the hotel considering the amount of money we paid, I would’ve expected a bit more attention to detail. Also, we had an issue with our phone in the room and when asked if it would be fixed, we was told that there was no maintenance people available over the weekend which I thought was quite irresponsible and unsafe because if there was any issues in the room there would be no way for us contacting reception in an emergency so we had no dialling out tones. Also one thing that did shock me was that there was no fridge in the rooms there was a number of us that was staying in different rooms and only The extremely big rooms had fridges but the rooms that could sleep double beds twin beds on the ground floor did not seem to have any fridges in, which was quite strange as I’ve stayed in hotels like Premier Inn, etc and they all come with a fridge Considering you’re staying there for a number of nights, it would be nice to be able to have the option to drink cold. In all considering the money that we paid, I was quite disappointed with the service we received considering I was heavily pregnant and had a disabled child which we booked and let the hotel know from 2023 .

Stayed for 2 nights (2 adults 2 under 4’s) as were attending a local wedding. (Took travel cot and had 1 in bed with us) bed was huge! No complaints - clean, staff efficient and breakfast was nice. Powerful shower & smart tv in room was big and don’t normally get these in hotels. Would stay again! Thank you

Stayed at the Donnington Manor early June. Rooms were clean and beds were ok. I received an email invoice for drinks, from the hotel that I had not had, which I had to sort out. The hotel initially did not believe me when I said I was 50 miles away when these drinks were purchased. Customer relations… zero points. The restaurant service was, however in a league of its own. On our first night, we waited 1 hour 10 minutes for our food to arrive, which was average. Additionally my wife’s meal was wrong when it came out. We were offered a £1 off reduction, from a £100 restaurant bill. Very poor customer service with virtually no off to fix it. The following morning we were asked what we wanted for breakfast . When this arrived, it was wrong, which my wife and I swapped around to have what we wanted. On the third morning, I asked for scrambled eggs, which arrive 10 minutes after the rest of my breakfast. This restaurant has very little idea about customer service. There are better places to stay in this area.

We had an excellent 2nd visit to Donnington Manor Hotel. The receptionist was excellent and incredibly informative on our arrival - she had even rung us in advance to let us know that there was a group dining at the hotel on our first evening and to advise us on the best times to book for dinner. We spent two nights here visiting family in the area - this was our 2nd stay at the hotel and we would return again. The staff are all friendly and can't do enough to help. We had lovely meals in the restaurant both evenings and the breakfasts were excellent too. Thoroughly recommend staying here.

Booked on website . Got confirmation email. This was in January 2024 for stay in may 2024. Emailed in may 2024 to try to book dinner reservation and breakfast reservation at set times due to going to airport after our stay. Was told they couldn’t find our reservation. Was told the hotel was overbooked on that date so not everyone who booked could stay. Sent them our reservation email that said ours was confirmed and paid for. No response. Rang and spoke to staff who told me they would call back. No call back. Absolutely awful service and still no reply to phone complaint or email complaint . Still no room given when we had a confirmed reservation and no apology for whatever mistake they made . And still no refund! Never book and certainly don’t book online and turn up as will likely be overbooked and turn you away. Worst service ever
