Russell Square Hotel

Room is really bad and dirty.

Very disappointed in this 'hotel'. Had booked for 2 nights costing us £319 for my family of 3. We checked out after 1 night and found another hotel 5 mins away that was a much higher standard The decor was like going back in time to.the 60's. Very shabby furniture, no door on wardrobe, loose electrical trunking on wall. Cracks in ceilings and what looked like woodchip wallpaper which I remember as a child some 40 odd years ago. A total revamp wouldn't go amiss to bring it up to modern standards. Will not be booking again with your website and will stick with *********** in future. Wasn't worth 1 star in my opinion.

Excellent located ! Just next to Russell Square Station! 5mins to British Museum....Saves me a lot of time and money going around Covent Garden, China Town, National Gallery! Toilet flush is a bit troubles! If a kettle is provided, I will give 5 star... Anyway I will stay this place again if I go London in Christmas.

This is THE WORST hotel I’ve ever stayed in….and I’ve spent the night in a hotel room where someone had been murdered recently. Awful staff who are unreachable, dated everything, WAY overpriced! The rooms have only a flimsy lock and no deadbolt. This place has to be a massive pile of code violations. Feels more like an hourly motel than a place for families. Would’ve given it ZERO circle la if that had been an option.

Very basic hostel level but the location is excellent, literally two steps from Piccadilly line underground from Heathrow. Lots of restaurants close by and good 24hr Tesco opposite. Clean but old premises, comfortable beds. Family room in the basement is great for 4-5 people and has full kitchen (old style).

That's not a 3 star hotel. Zero stars.... the room was soooo small not like in the pictures In room number 6 I've been bitten by some bed bugs. The hotel is not recommended guys. Try to avoid it and dont try to save some money

NOT WORTH IT, THERE IS ONE BETTER AROUND THE CORNER FOR SAME PRICE/ HAY HOTELES MEJORES POR EL MISMO PRECIO We had to find another hotel for the rest of our trip on the very first day, just spent 1 night../ Tuvimos que buscar otro hotel donde alojarnos el mismo dia que llegamos, solo pudimos dormir una noche. They don't have hot water neither heated rooms/No tienen agua caliente ni calefacción en las habitaciones. Room doesn't look like pictures/Las habitaciones no son como las exponen You will have zero contact with the owner over the phone or email/ no hay contacto con el dueño ni por telefono ni por email. If you happen to be there unluckily, the owner will say he is not the owner and that they don't answer phone or email./ Si por desgracia tienes este hotel, el dueño te dice que no es el y que no cogen las llamadas ni los emails. Curtains were awfully raid and dirty/Las cortinas sucias y raidas.
