Premier Inn London Hampstead

Great location in a really nice area of London. Five minutes walk from Belsize Park Underground which is an easy journey on the Northern Line from London Bridge. Very clean and comfortable room. Added advantage of a 'social space' which made a comfortable place to meet up with people and relax away from your room. I didn't eat there but the restaurant looked better than I'm used to at Premier Inn and there were special offers on drinks and meals if you wanted them. The staff were friendly and helpful. My only criticism was the check in process. The QR code didn't work nor did the booking reference. Bit frustrating as I was on a bit of a tight time scale on arrival. However that is a minor detail and did not detract from an otherwise great stay. I would definitely recommend. It is the best Premier Inn I've stayed in and I've stayed in many throughout the UK. I would have no hesitation in staying again in future

Very pleasant restaurant for breakfast. Staff friendly and helpful. Good location within walking distance of the underground. Very quiet room for a good night's sleep. We would return if we visited London again.

I enjoyed my stay and breakfast there. Not sure about Self-Check-in and hardly staff about. But it take time to get use to it, also there London Live on telly even don't much about. Location is great there some stores and KFC and walk down the road to Roundhouse.

Nice refurbished hotel, room clean everything how it should be, was on the 5th floor facing the road and was quiet at night. The staff were friendly I had breakfast and it was good. Belsize Park Station 5 minutes away some coffee shops nearby and a few convenience shops if you need anything. I would stay here again if I was in the area, no problem.

Lovely hotel close to tube station, easy to explore Camden market , and see a band at the Roundhouse , the social area at the hotel was brilliant for early evening drinks and food , clean and warm , also a quiet area for those with laptop work to complete.

I was aware that Premier Inn offered self check in which is fine for those who prefer to do that, however, I did not expect to discover that in this hotel it is the ONLY option. Self service is bad enough in a retail setting, however, it is thoroughly unacceptable in hospitality. Are we now at the stage where we should enter a hotel where no one is there to meet and greet us & answer any questions? It would also be an opportunity for the person checking us in to promote the bar & restaurant thus increasing sales. As I result I opted against spending any money at this hotel though due to time constraints I had to purchase a meal on the Sunday evening - more to come on that. Check in involved a member of staff standing behind me watching while I had to navigate a screen. Sorry, but isn't that his job? Having endured a long & tiring journey I did not expect this. The situation was exasperated by the fact I was recovering from a fractured humerus & was having difficulty reaching the screen. The whole experience was unpleasant especially when he had to "correct" what I was doing. Again, is it not his job to be doing it in the first place? Ordered food at the bar on Saturday night & sat down. Given the fact the place was very quiet, having taken the order the man behind the bar could have placed cutlery and condiment on the table in preparation for the meal arriving. I've worked in hospitality & that's what I would have done. When the food arrived the woman serving brought cutlery but did not offer any condiments. I had to ask for salt & vinegar which she said she would bring. Having waited over 5 minutes I stood up to go & find her just as she re-entered the area & shouted over that she was just coming & shouted "vinegar & sauce". I replied that I was looking for salt and vinegar. Another few minutes passed & what does she appear at the table with? Yup, a single sachet of vinegar and a ramekin of tomato sauce. Needless to say that by this was I was not impressed & had to again ask for salt & vinegar while advising that the dinner would be cold by the time I received the correct condiments. It ended up that while the steak & ale pie was still okay I had to get another portion of chips sent out to me - basically as a separate course. The only thing I could rate about this hotel was the housekeeping who were clearly excellent and the location which was ideal. I would only consider staying here again based on location and price.

Aesthetically very pleasing,comfortable beds,modern all round, swipe/tap cards, nice big shower &tv.More than 2 tea bags should be in room rather than trudging down 4 floors for more! Hairdryer was temperamental. No info on breakfast times anywhere so we missed this opportunity. Also no phone number to contact reception.

Needed a decent, modest priced hotel, ideally located, to accommodate us for my wife's hospital appointment. This hotel surpassed all expectations, for the price paid in, a central London location. Staff and cleanliness standards immaculate. It was more than we could have hoped for.
