Very disappointed for the super high prices paid. One of the most expensive hotels in London n probably around the world. However, not anything close to the service provided by many other 4 or 5 star hotels. I believe many other 3 star hotels or even smaller boutique hotels can do better!
No toothbrush / toothpaste or other amenties (like shower cap, cotton buds in room! I have to call more than once to ask for toothbrushes, more towels and laundry bag.
Freezing winter n no heating in room n was told that its centralised heating. Was given one small portable heater for quite big room with 4 of us when informed front desk that room is cold.
Breakfast is terrible with very limited options, for both veg and non-veg. If anyone has to book this hotel, must be without breakfast. Mostly cold food and exactly the same option for all 3 days, i.e pork sausages for all 3 days.
Hotel looks run down and very small lobby and breakfast area. Photos are very deceiving.
Indian restaurant looks classy but overpriced and no discount for hotel guests.
Given a room on 2nd floor that have to go up like 3 stairs; go through a push-swing door and then; down few steps again. Had to do all these with 5 luggage - 3 big and 2 small. No one informed me at check-in when I said I’ll manage with the bags. Definitely unsuitable for family with children or anyone with mobility issues! Toilet near breakfast area at 2nd floor is dirty with bad lighting on all 3 days when I had use that to wash hands!
Service is with non-chalant attitude and no one even smiles, esp at front desk. Zero positive or festive vibes, other than nice decoration. The ladies at breakfast area are bit better but they also look overwhelmed and tired.
Only location is good but that is also noisy at this Christmas time. In conclusion, this is a terrible hotel with bad service. Will never recommend to anyone.
