The environment here is truly awful. They even have shared shower facilities for both men and women. The room lighting is incredibly dim; when I first checked in, I felt like I was going to lose it – it was practically a prison cell. The most outrageous part was that I booked for three nights, and on the second morning, the staff threw all my belongings, which were on my bed, out of the room! They claimed no one told them that this bed was still occupied. Their management system is clearly terrible. What's also really off-putting is that the owner, or whoever it was, seemed to be discriminatory towards Asians. They were incredibly mean and cutting the whole time, showing no respect. They'd start loudly badmouthing me to the staff as soon as I walked away, but then go silent when I approached. Absolutely terrible! To anyone thinking of staying in a hostel in the UK, I strongly advise against choosing this place. There are plenty of other options at the same price point. Don't let a bad experience ruin your trip to the UK; this place is genuinely dreadful!!!
