Very Disappointing Stay – Service Has Declined.  I’m a returning guest at Marlin Serviced Apartments @Algate East but this stay was very disappointing. I requested early check-in as my flight landed at 6am and I arrived at 9am after more than 24 hours of travel, but was told to pay £30 to check in at noon. When I asked to store my luggage at the lobby, the lady manager refused, saying policies had changed — even though I was allowed last time — forcing me to use a nearby Premier Inn and pay £23.72 for storage. My booking for two guests couldn’t be modified to three, and I was charged £80 for a sofa bed — more than booking for three online. The assigned room was the complete opposite of my request, facing ongoing construction. To make things worse, the “double bed” was actually two single beds pushed together, which made sleeping uncomfortable. Staff at check in counter including the manager, were not warmth, welcoming or helpful. As someone working in hospitality industry, I found this experience far below expectations. I will never return to Marlin Serviced Apartments and will not recommend it to anyone visiting London.

⭐☆☆☆☆ Disappointing and Disruptive Stay I do not recommend staying here. The apartment building is under active construction, leading to constant, loud noise from morning until evening. It made working from home or relaxing impossible. Additionally, the building lacks basic amenities like baggage storage, which was a major inconvenience. To top it off, the supervisor we interacted with was consistently rude and unhelpful. Save yourself the hassle and find another place.
