It's in a good place, there were two problems, the doors were slammed, and the children were bitten by something.. probably fleas.🥺
Response from Property: Dear Guest,Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear about the issues you faced with the doors and the bites. We’ll investigate both concerns to ensure a more comfortable experience for our future guests. We truly appreciate you bringing this to our attention, and we look forward to welcoming you again soon!Sincerely,AndresaReception Team

Safestay London Kensington Holland Park is a gem for solo travelers! 🌳 The location is perfect, nestled in a beautiful park and just a short walk to the tube. My shared dormitory was clean and cozy, with privacy curtains that made it feel like my own little nook. The staff were friendly and helpful, ensuring a pleasant stay. Facilities like the game room and garden added to the fun atmosphere. The only downside was the sometimes busy showers, but overall, it was a fantastic experience for winter travel! I’d definitely return! 🎉
Response from Property: Thank you so much for your wonderful review! We’re so happy to hear you enjoyed your stay with us at Safestay London Kensington Holland Park. It’s great to know that our location, cosy dorms, and friendly staff helped make your winter travel experience memorable. We truly appreciate your feedback about the busy showers and will work to improve that for future guests. We’d love to welcome you back anytime – hope to see you again soon! 🎉🌳Best Regards,Ricardo

The demographic of people that stay here is a bit older. The walk through the park from the bus stop to get to the hostel is a bit inconvenient, especially while lugging bags and being tired. The site itself is nice. The bathrooms were nice and clean with sufficient water pressure. The photo is the view from my 6 bed all female room on the top floor. The stairs were not fun, but you do not often get a rooftop patio. My roommates were not my favorite, as I had a very loud snoring woman in my room that argued with me as I was checking out. I complained to management but my stay had ended so there was nothing to do about it. At the least it would’ve been nice to NOT have to pay £1.50 for the earplugs I bought.
Response from Property: Dear Guest,Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. While I wish you had a better experience, it is feedback like this that we learn from and use to improve. We work hard to deliver an exceptional guest experience, and it's apparent in this case that we fell short. If you give us a chance to earn back your trust, I can assure you that we will do our best to give you the great hotel experience that so many of our guests have grown so fond of.Sincerely,SaraReception

So far everything is okay, just the reception customer service got a bit rude.

1. The location is very good! It is indeed safe! It is integrated with the park (it is not an exaggeration to describe the parks in London as small forests!). It takes about 10 minutes to get to High Kensington Street Station. There are also many buses. It is very suitable for backpackers who come to London for the first time. People who have the habit of morning jogging must not miss it. You can start from Holland Park and run all the way to Kensington Garden, Hyde Garden, Albert Concert Hall, Imperial College London...
2. Ctrip says that the breakfast is 4.5 pounds, but it is actually 8 pounds. I guess Ctrip has not maintained the information for a long time. You can experience breakfast once, but it is not recommended. You can buy it in the nearby M&S Food supermarket and eat it in the dining area. You can borrow tableware from the restaurant.
3. Cards are only accepted here, no cash is accepted, and WeChat and Alipay are not supported as of the time I wrote this review. I strongly recommend using a contactless credit card - VISA. I use the ICBC study abroad card because it has a contactless function. This card is very convenient and can be used in subways, trains, buses, roadside snacks, etc. No need to exchange cash! I basically don’t see UnionPay in daily life!
4. Each person has a bed with a curtain. The hygiene is OK! You can bring your own hangers and hair dryer.
5. Customers: Although it was May Day, I didn't see other Chinese during my stay. It was mainly European backpackers, a Korean lady, a few families with babies, and I occasionally met a group of more than 20 French elementary school students staying and having breakfast here. It shows that the safety level of this hotel is very high. There are also long-term guests, and they are all very friendly!
6. Luggage storage is 3 pounds a day
7. The service staff are very friendly and they are all working hard to provide service.
I saw a comment before that the entrance is hard to find, I attached a video. It is recommended to use Citymapper to find the way, which is better than Google map!

Holland Park is a relatively safe area in London. It is surrounded by wealthy areas. It is very safe. The hotel alarm clock is located in the park. It is very beautiful. I like it very much. I recommend everyone to stay there. The price is also very cheap, which is at least the same as other hotels in London. It costs three thousand or four thousand. This hotel has a good location and a good environment.

It is very convenient. There is a subway station about 500 meters away when you go out. There is also a supermarket next to the subway station. It is very convenient to take the subway to Buckingham Palace, the Big Eye, and other famous attractions. These attractions are very close and not very far. It is also very good to come back at night. try to find
