The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were new. The service was also great, and they even extended our check-out by an hour for free. St. Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market, Southwark Cathedral, The Shard, and the Tate Modern are all very close by.

I stayed for four nights during Christmas season. The breakfast buffet is good with options of hot food and salad. There is a gym and poor that I didn’t try but I always see other guest swimming. The room is modern style with deemed light. There is not much in mini bar but enough for us.

Room: Double family room, very spacious and comfortable. We could easily open three suitcases. The bathroom was also very large. Cleanliness: Cleaned promptly every day. Minibar: Restocked regularly with a good variety of complimentary drinks. Breakfast: Offered Chinese options like congee and oatmeal, as well as a traditional English breakfast. The coffee was rich, and there was a great selection of fresh, soft bread. While the overall variety wasn't extensive, there was certainly enough to fill you up. Surroundings: Plenty of supermarkets and restaurants nearby. Tate Modern and St Paul's Cathedral are within walking distance.

This is my second trip to the UK, and my second time staying at the Hilton Riverside Hotel. As always, I was completely satisfied and happy to give it another glowing review. The hotel is just a 5-minute walk from the nearest Southwark tube station, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. It's also only 5 minutes from the River Thames, which was perfect for a pleasant morning jog. This time, I even booked two rooms for my friends, and they were extremely satisfied as well!

My stay wasn't great this time around, largely due to ongoing renovations which meant the windows couldn't be opened. The room's layout also differed from what I'm used to at Hilton hotels in China.
