I stayed at Egerton with my wife for 3 nights in late August .
I arrived with luggage, and unfortunately, there was nobody who came outside to assist me . This wasn’t the best first experience.
Furthermore, although the rooms are very clean , they are extremely small , so are the bathrooms .

The service is very good. The hotel has a membership card for the Victoria and Albert Museum that can be used. When we arrived at the exhibition, the tickets for the Chanel exhibition were sold out. With the membership card, you can enter, eat and shop at a discount.

It's very good. I will order this one next time I go out. The air conditioner is relatively cold at night. I asked the waiter how many thick quilts I wanted.

We arrived early for check in, our room was not available but the staff were friendly and we had a relaxing drink in the lounge before heading out to check in on our return. Our queen room was decorated beautifully, though the bathroom felt cramped. The shower was frustrating as it’s above the bath and not high enough- I had to duck to get fully under. The bed was adequate but not comfortable, too many people may have sat on the side which meant the mattress felt sloped towards the edge when you lay on it. Unfortunately, our nights sleep was compromised as the rooms heating system was faulty, the room was set at 20C but got hotter and hotter, waking us up in sweats in the middle of the night. Not what you expect in January. When I reported this to reception they didn’t appear to care, I’d already paid upfront and was checking out that day. The hotels location is fantastic for Knightsbridge, just far enough back off the main road to lose the traffic noise. Loads to see and do within easy walking distance. Maybe we were unlucky with our room, though for the amount paid we were left feeling disappointed.

The service was insanely good like being in a movie.
The afternoon tea and canopes were outrageously good. Its nice when you pay for something expensive and actually get what you pay for. The opposite to the pervasive dubai/salt bae/balenciaga culture that is everywhere these days.

Ben, the Concierge, was so professional, friendly, cheerful, helpful and so informative upon check in,
He was ready to answer any questions I had regarding traveling the train via Paddington station and assisting with making dinner reservations
The hotel is quaint, beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations and the wam lit fireplace at the entry is such a cozy touch.
I would highly recommend this boutique like hotel

The Egerton House Hotel made our stay in London a delight ! The staff is polite and helpful and the hotel itself is cute and cozy ! Definitely this will be our go to hotel whenever we are in London !
