Spread Eagle

This charming pub had the best rooms. Its location is good. Food app for pub doesn't work for US ph#. But you can call reception for rm service. Staff was amazing and helpful. If there was something they couldn't do, they'd help figure out.Excited to tell everyone about this place back home.

Brilliant Hotel! We were slightly put off initially by the hotel's location and accessibility but we didn't need to worry. Wandsworth is a great area and the train from Waterloo was quick and comfortable. The hotel itself is a gem and the rooms beautiful with lots of thoughtful extras. Spotlessly clean, really comfy bed and amazingly quiet given it's location. The staff were so helpful and the Sunday lunch was delicious. We had a really copious breakfast the next morning with a fantastic choice of dishes. All in all we wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Spread Eagle and we will definitely return on our next visit to London.

Great spot, lovely rooms and fantastic staff! This is a little gem of a place, the room we stayed in was clean, tidy and had everything you needed. It was actually facing the main road, we had no trouble sleeping the room was well insulated from the noise. Our bed was lovely and comfortable with crisp clean cotton sheets. The pub was excellent, food was good and of course service was spot on. Overall it’s staff that make a place and this was so true about The Spread Eagle. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly, what a team! Worth nothing that just a few weeks before this start we stopped at another sister hotel called Horts Townhouse in Bristol and it was exactly the same. Clearly the brand / ethos is consistent across this companies accommodation…. Wish they had some up North!

They've thought of everything from the lovely teas and coffee with small bottle of proper fridge in the fridge, homemade gf vegan shortbread, well stocked fridge, lovely glasses, extremely comfortable bed and friendly and efficient staff - what more could we have asked for?? Great quality and value for money!

Arriving at the Spread Eagle was like arriving at the most welcoming 5 star country house hotel. The staff were incredibly friendly, the interior design was classy but welcoming and cosy, the lighting stylish, and to my surprise I found a roll-top bath in my bedroom. I half-expected to look out the window and see guests playing on a croquet lawn as it had such a relaxed and country house atmosphere. The pub next door served delicious food and had an open fire burning away and frankly the place is idyllic!
