On the evening of the last day of the Qingming holiday, we chartered a car to go up the mountain in the fog. After several days of heavy rain, I no longer had any hope of seeing the terraced fields... I strolled and took photos in the B&B very leisurely in the evening, and found lovely surprises everywhere. I had a hearty dinner with my family in the warm restaurant, delicious hot and sour fish pot, homemade rice wine 🍶, and felt that the regretful mood was gradually healed~ Although the thunder and lightning rain all night made me very depressed, we still went to the Thousand-Layer Ladder Observation Deck at noon the next day with a lucky mentality. There was still a faint fog when we went there. In less than 20 minutes, the clouds and fog magically dispersed, and we could clearly see the terraced fields all over the mountain and the lovely houses at the foot of the mountain in the distance~ Breathing hard in the humid air, full of green, feeling the beauty with heart, let this trip come to a successful conclusion, everything is the best arrangement. I won't go into details about the room and facilities. They are just as good as the pictures and very comfortable. Special thanks to the staff of the B&B. They are very enthusiastic and the service is very considerate. When my family member was sick, they found medicine for us and boiled scallion and ginger tea. They were worried about the health of my family member and specially arranged for the chef to help us drive the car through the steepest place. The chef's skills in the kitchen are really great, and every dish is delicious.

The staff have first-rate service and are very polite. Compared with other B&Bs in Guilin, the facilities are well maintained. The restaurant tastes good, the environment is quiet, and the view from the room is magnificent, surrounded by mountains and rivers! There are exquisite and delicious drinks! Due to some problems with the flight from Beijing to Guilin in the morning, we changed to a flight at noon, which was 6 hours later than the expected arrival time. I thought there would be many guests staying at Longji Terraces during the Spring Festival, but I didn't expect that this was a small off-season, and there was only one guest in my house. The service was very good. First of all, the room was clean, and the warm air was set up for us in advance. The outdoor temperature was low, and the room was very warm. Secondly, the homestay has a story. Uncle Liu's family took care of it. We arrived at the unified parking lot of the scenic area and Uncle Liu drove a private car to pick us up in person. Most importantly, Uncle Liu is also a chef. Because many ingredients in the terraces are original, the menu is selected in advance. The beer duck made by Uncle Liu is so delicious that we didn't finish it and couldn't bear to throw it away. He heated it up for us the next day. Finally, it's the location. Go straight for 5 minutes and you will reach the No. 1 viewing platform. Go right for 15 minutes and you will reach the No. 2 viewing platform. The No. 1 is high, mainly for watching the sunrise and the sea of ​​clouds. The No. 2 is halfway up the mountain, and you can enjoy the terraces. The terraces are green in April and May, and yellow in mid-October. Be sure to book a room early to catch these two time periods. You must try the rice in the terraced fields. This land with 2,300 years of cultural heritage can produce one season of rice a year. The rice is so delicious. It does not have the high moisture content of traditional southern rice, but is more like the rice in the Northeast, and is very oily.
