Cute, clean and attention to details. Beautiful grounds. Very happy with my decision to book this property. There is one road so traffic can get a little noisy but it isn't horrible. My room faced the street. It was raining most of the time so I didn't get to explore as much as I would have liked but the room was lovely to hang out in.

Quaint inn and a bit rustic. We had a regular queen room and it was small. I recommend getting a king room. The breakfast is outstanding and the staff friendly. In the afternoon the offer coffee, iced tea and a freshly prepared gourmet snack. It is across the street from Rock City and there is a 30% discount at Rock City by staying at the inn.

Were staying here for 2 nights. 1st night it was 11.1.5 before we turned down the bed, to find a penny sized blood stain on sheet near the pillow. disgusted really. reception was closed. when we informed them of this next morning it was changed and a whole chocolate was gifted to us in compensation. There are NO blackout blinds or curtains which meant on one night we had little sleep due to this and on the next night it was raining heavily and the rain was pooling and overflowing, dripping outside door causing disturbance again. They had no black/breakfast tea. Pretty much NO sound proofing between ours and the one adjoining room, where we could hear literally every word spoken ......

Chanticleer has its good points and some areas for improvement. When you go to a bed and breakfast you should expect a great breakfast and good, comfortable bed. One out of two is perhaps not so great. The breakfasts are delicious and generous. The bed in our room sagged noticeably on my side. I am 5'11 and weigh 190. A good mattress should form not sag. For $300/night a good bed should be standard. Thus, I did not get a good nights rest. The room was acceptably clean although the bathroom had some areas that could have used some touchup paint and some of the grout appeared to have mildew. Would I stay again? Probably not even though the breakfasts are some of the best I've had at a B&B.

What a wonderful, relaxing Inn. We stayed in the Superior King Deluxe Room 14 for eight nights. The room was very spacious, sofa for two, fireplace, comfortable king bed. It also had a small refrigerator and keurig, iron/board, and robes. The bathroom had a walk-in steam shower, which we loved after our long days of sight-seeing. The Inn’s breakfast was absolutely delicious. You could choose the special for that morning or from a menu including; eggs, sausage, parfait, fruit, and oatmeal. They also offer coffee, hot tea, water, lemonade, iced tea and snacks in the afternoon and evening in their living/dining rooms, which we enjoyed. The pool wasn’t open yet but the fire pit was a nice place to sit in the evening. We couldn’t be more pleased with the entire Inn’s team (I don’t want to leave names in case I leave somebody out). They were all pleasant, helped with anything we needed, gave us recommendations for dinner and things to do, and the special treats made my day ❤️ They made our stay so relaxing and stress free! One of the most beautiful Inns we’ve stayed at!

I stayed in room 11, it was beautiful. The outside patio is where I spent my time. I find lookout mountain Rock City to be magical and this bed and breakfast is just wonderful. There's coffee, a very nice breakfast, and light snacks in the afternoon. They have a fire pit that was a lot of fun to sit around with other people. I highly recommend this place. When I get back to Chattanooga, I will stay here again, it's nice to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

This is a very nice bed and breakfast. We had room one and had no road noise. The room was good size, the bathroom was clean and the bed was comfortable. Excellent location across the street from Rock City. The staff was nice but it felt more like a hotel than a B&B where you have an innkeeper. Room 1 allowed a lot of secondary light into the room at night because the drapes didn't cover over the blinds. The breakfast was okay: we are late risers and by then most the food was gone: no granola, no yogurt and limited fresh fruit and pastries. The eggs were runny. The evening snack was wonderful: fresh cookies. Also they had very limited tea bags (no black tea, mint) and it just wasn't on par to other B&B we stayed in. I would still recommend though just be aware that it isn't as exceptional.

We had the pleasure of staying here for 3 nights during our recent tour of Tennessee and Georgia. It feels quite ‘French’ and homely. The rooms are very comfortable, luckily we had a King bed. Our room (3) had a fridge, coffee maker, shower and steam shower (but we didn’t use the steam). The a/c was efficient. We enjoyed using the pool. Location right across from Rock City is convenient. We thought breakfast was excellent, afternoon snacks a nice touch and the evening fire pit was good to sit round when we had returned from dinner. Room service was limited, but we certainly didn’t mind. We appreciated the restaurant recommendations (1885 was our favourite). Front of house staff Olivia and Abigail were always helpful, smiling and welcoming. We enjoyed our stay at Chanticleer, the perfect end to our trip.

Fantastic service at this resort. They go the extra mile to help. Give them your business if your headed to Eagle River. We had an unexpected situation that affected our trip, and Jenny went above and beyond to be helpful. We will def stay here when we go up north in the future.
