The location is fantastic, right across from the subway station, making it incredibly convenient even if you're flying in. The cleanliness was just okay, but for the price, it's really good value. Breakfast consists of bread and bagels, with free coffee, free hot water, and free Wi-Fi. Most of the staff were very nice. Just a heads-up, this street is very lively, but after 10 PM, it's best not to walk alone.

This hostel boasts an excellent location, close to Hollywood and easy to find. The common areas and beds are clean, facilities are comprehensive, and the atmosphere is friendly. It offers great value for money, especially for solo travelers. Overall, a fantastic experience.

Remember to bring your own slippers and a padlock. You'll need to go up one flight of stairs to the second floor for check-in. It might be a bit tough if you have a lot of luggage, so a backpack is recommended. The front desk is 24-hour, and the staff are very friendly. Guests come from all over the world, creating a nice atmosphere (though everyone still maintains polite distance). You can store your luggage in advance. Towel and hairdryer are provided; you can ask for them at the front desk. Hairdryers must be returned after use. Upon check-out, you need to place used sheets and towels in the recycling bin. When storing food in the kitchen fridge, make sure to label it. Pros: Excellent location: Very close to the subway station, just one stop to Universal Studios. The hostel itself is right on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, so attractions are right outside. There's also a supermarket nearby if you want to cook in the kitchen. Breakfast provided: Simple breakfast starts at 7 AM (coffee, bagels, fruit, oatmeal, etc.). Beds have shelves, USB ports, and blackout curtains: The shelves are handy for small items, the USB ports are convenient for charging, and the blackout curtains block light and add a bit more privacy. There's a small changing area in the room (in the 4-person female dorm). Cons: The entire building has a strong smell, either of cleaning products or insect repellent. The kitchen isn't 24-hour (it seems to be 7 AM-midnight). You can't cook at night (jet lag might wake you up then!) Minor inconveniences (not necessarily cons): The main entrance requires ringing the doorbell for front desk staff to open it, as you can't use a card. While a bit inconvenient, it's understandable. Being in a bustling area, this measure enhances security. Overall, it's still good, and I would book here again if the opportunity arises.

The room was clean and well-maintained. The location was excellent, very close to Universal Studios and the Walk of Fame. There's also a Target supermarket nearby.

I stayed for two days this time and had a very good rest. I also met a lovely girl. The transportation here is convenient, with easy access to the subway and buses. There are also many dining options nearby, though the supermarket is a bit far.
