Upon arrival myself and my family thought wow. Wonderful looking place. Very clean. Was offered an arrival drink which was really a lovely touch! Our room was phenomenal. So much nicer than we could have imagined! We actually worried about the reviews regarding stairs and steep hill. We didn't actually find this an issue at all and would walk down and up the hill most days for a trip to the supermarket. We did hire a car to get to the different locations - so this helped and parking was easy outside the hotel! Only things we found disappointing was, no games of any kind allowed in the pool, yet it wasn't an adult only pool. Even when it was just us there, no other guests we were not allowed so keeping our 2 year old happy round the pool was hard. We also found there were signs everywhere for "Ohasis market" so assumed they had their own little shop. Upon asking reception they didn't even realise that was their sign and thought we made it up. Our room didn't get cleaned the whole time we were there, yet our other family members has theirs done twice throughout the week. Spoke to the reception at the end just to give the feedback and he shrugged and said "well why didn't you just come here and ask for clean towels and ask for someone to clean the room if it was that big a deal" We also found the food menu really small and they didn't have most things as my sister in law had to change her choice 3 times on the first night. I have attached a pic to give an idea of choice. They also close the restaurant anywhere between 6pm - 7pm (whenever the chef chooses) The bar also closes as and when they see fit, so found often when we wanted a drink, we couldn't get one. On one of the nights we ordered starters and mains and they all arrived at the same time.. when we explained we wanted the starters to start.. the chef huffed and made us feel like we were being a pain. We would stay again now we know the above as we can make it work. But feel like we would have liked to know before hand, we also haven't stayed anywhere else in los Cristianos to know if there was anything better for the price

Just returned from a fantastic week at this hotel. Firstly, I would like to point out to others that this is not a 5 star facility hotel and so please do your homework before you book. Decide what you are looking for. If you want a quiet, relaxed, clean, and friendly hotel and are fully mobile (able to deal with lots of steps and want a 20 minute walk into town (probably taxi back uphill for 5 euros) then this might be exactly what your looking for. If you want children’s entertainment, rowdy drinking games or waterpolo and are not fully mobile then best you look elsewhere and probably pay a lot more for these facilities. The lifeguard, bar and reception staff are all really friendly if you make the effort and want to communicate but they aren’t going to bother you if you want to be left alone and read your book and relax. The accommodation is large and comfortable for a couple with bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and lounge leading to a balcony. We were fortunate to have a sea view. Air conditioning is NOT standard although not required in winter months but can, I understand, be made available for a fee in summer months (again don’t complain that it’s not standard as they do not advertise it on their website). We went self catering to avoid eating too much at breakfast but I understand the selection and quality was good. Lunch snacks and drinks at the pool bar during the day were reasonably priced (chicken club sandwich, fries and a large beer for 14 euros). We walked into Los Christianos for dinner or taxi to Las Americas (9 euros). We have recently been to some lovely 5 star hotels which of course offered many more facilities but when you sometimes want that quieter week then this might be exactly what your looking for. We will definitely return in the future.

This hotel is quite clearly for the elderly. Expensive, clean, yet lacking in almost everything. The pool area is small, but nice. The problem is it opens late and closes early, which was a real disappointment for the kids especially. The rooms had no air-conditioning, so it soon became uncomfortable to sleep. The staff in reception were friendly and quite helpful, but it didnt really do much to rectify the fact that there was nothing to do after the pools closed at 6, and the walk to the town was quite long. The price was also so high that I would recommend you find somewhere else to stay.

We enjoyed our 10-days stay very much! A clean hotel with friendly staff and a rich breakfast buffé. The pool was nice and there is always snacks and ice-cream to buy. The pizza was delicious and could be delivered to your room if you wanted. The hotel is located at the top of Los Cristianos hillside, so a 15-20 minute walk to the beach promenade is necessary if you don´t wan´t to stay by the pool all time. Close to bus stops and a calm and quiet atmosphere. The only thing we would complain about is that the Wifi was very unstable. We told the reception twice but we did not get any feedback and the network did not get better. So if you have to work while your stay, you better have a good mobile provider to rely on. The hotel does not have AC but it didn´t bother us at all. The view from the balcony is nice with a view over Los Cristianos and the sea.

Definitely an oasis in Los cristianosis in comparison to some of the other “colourful places to stay” , very classy and laid back, excellent cleaning service and friendly staff. I don’t think it’s a place for school age kids or young teens - no ball games in pool or inflatables etc. We had the Friday paella lunch deal which was cooked fresh and included a beer or sangria for €11 each and was excellent. We self catered and the local supermarket is really good. Also there is one washing machine (€5) and a dryer (€4) but depending on use so pick a day you’ll be at the pool and flexible for time! What we ate and drank we definitely walked off - it is at the top of a steep hill but there are taxis if required. We were fine with the room fan ( & ear plugs for me Mr T didn’t notice) but I’d expect in summer you would need to pay for the air conditioning u it so factor that in. Fabulous accommodation and very comfy pool loungers -thanks!

100 Euros taken as deposit on arrival. Hotel pricey for what it was, room nice and spacious but due to surrounding areas would definitely not rate more than 3 star. Clean hotel, cleaning staff very thorough. Requested room on high floor but allocated 1stfloor. Kitchenette very handy. Pictures of pool deceiving from pictures as not that large. No balls etc allowed in pool. We only spent one day at the pool as 4 of us had to share 2 sun loungers, which was pretty poor they couldn't accommodate us, not being very busy there. We spent 9 out of 10 days at the beach/different location, as no atmosphere in hotel either.(especially poolside). Temperature was 34 degrees and room fans not a great help. One fan was broken and rather than suggest repair, Reception tried to push AC sale @ €75 a week! I requested a mobile fan, which they supplied and then fixed fan next day. We hired a car as not much within a 15- 20 minute walk & too hot to walk to beach. Nearest supermarket very expensive. Cabanas outside reception are not located near pool and cost 30 Euros per day. Not keen on location but good for free parking for hire car. OK but would not return. Siam water park very expensive (over 200 euros for 4 people with fast pass) wouldn't bother going if not arrived early for fast pass or wait for rides over an hour long. Also cost 15 euros (not refundable) for lockers! Having said that, the park was great!

We booked through TUI and requested a high floor for the view. There are no lifts and after reading reviews from other guests struggling to climb to the upper floor apartments, I emailed Ohasis direct explaining we had mobility issues and would they consider accommodating us in the lower apartments. Had email straight back saying they would try their best. We arrived to be given a lovely apartment in No 1 block which I was so pleased about. Our rooms were very clean and modern with balcony facing the pool. It was quiet at night, towels changed every other day, the staff in the restaurant were so friendly and welcoming, there was a good continental breakfast selection, omelettes, pancakes and eggs cooked fresh. The only complaint from us is the room safe didn't work, management were informed on 3 separate occasions and it was noted down as urgent. But it was never mended so we had to carry around passports, euros etc which wasn't ideal. The bathroom had a foul drainage smell every time we used the shower and sink and we wondered if it was because we were on the end of the drainage system being in a low block. We had a lovely week here though and even enjoyed walking 15-20 minutes down the steep hill into town, a taxi back costing just under €5
