"It's not right in front of Ajeng Station, but the road isn't too bad, so it's okay to drag a carrier. I made a reservation because they said it would have air conditioning, but the air conditioning was broken. They didn't change me to a different room, but instead lent me a fan. It was still comfortable and clean. The bathroom was much larger than necessary."

"This hotel was still undergoing renovations. That was not clear when booking. It really was half a ruin. Moreover, it all came across as very unprofessional. The room we booked for disabled people was certainly not suitable. Space was big enough, but the shower was barely accessible. In addition, the water flowed from the bathroom instead of towards the drain. So we had to mop more than we could shower. Reported this problem immediately, but it was not resolved. The pool is not wheelchair accessible as there are steps everywhere."

"Very nice hotel, let down by a few small issues. No plug in the bathroom, made shaving problematic. One light didn't work. Towel radiator in bathroom, could be me, but I couldn't get it to work. Wifi was intermittent at best, maybe due to distance from main hotel we were in villa 1. No milk sachets in fridge. If you want eggs, for breakfast, make sure you seek someone out, we had finished our breakfast before someone appeared and asked... Eggs? Reception staff were very good and the place is great, but at these prices, it is all about the details."

"Nerac is a lovely village and this hotel is totally charming. Anne, the owner, has thought of everything one might need in the rooms. Breakfast is an extensive continental and fabulous. I cannot say enough about Anne’s friendliness and helpfulness, even helping me return a scarp to a shop to act as interpreter. Her wonderful English is a big help to a sadly monolingual American. I highly recommend a visit to this region of France and a stay at this hotel."

Very beautiful castle, large swimming pool, very beautiful park, very friendly welcome, large air-conditioned bedroom, large bathroom, small downside; many stains on the carpet. Varied and copious breakfast in a very beautiful room, possibility of having lunch outside with a view of the swimming pool. Recommended without hesitation, for excellent value for money."

"We stayed here for one night before starting a self-guided tour (we could see a bus tour staying at the same time). At the time of checking in on a Sunday, we were told that their restaurant was not open for dinner. We were able to find dinner at La Grand Brasserie near the train station. Our room was 304, adjacent to the elevator, however we did not hear any noise. The room was small but adequate, with interesting decor of black and white zebra patterns, with red accents, and the bathroom was well equipped and decorous. The air conditioning was very good, for which we were grateful during a very hot time in June. For those needing access to a computer, one was available in the lobby. For those needing an iron, a room off the lobby was available with iron and ironing board. The breakfast in the morning was included, and was quite decent. Something worth noting for anyone wishing to buy postage stamps (I had purchased post cards but could not find international stamps) - there is a post office located right across the road."

"This was a wonderful unexpected treat. We stayed here for one night with our daughter and her fiancé and our friends prior to celebrating their wedding. The hosts Raymonde, Jean-Claude & their daughter Silvie, could not have been more welcoming. The accommodation was terrific and had lots of little personal touches. The highlight was a meal they had prepared for us from their garden and locally sourced products, which was superb. They joined us for the meal and although very little English was spoken, with the help of Google translate, we were able to converse and they were so interested in everything and wanted to get to know us. They are justifiably proud of all their renovations. Breakfast was delicious and very fresh including the most amazing French toast, eggs, ham, cheeses & pastries. I would highly recommend this as a personal, high quality experience."

"When we arrived at 8.00 pm the outside temperature was -5 degrees C. There was no heating in the room. It was not until 9.30pm that some sort of feeble heating was put on which made little to no difference. We never took our coats off all night - we noted that other guests did not either. When I wrote to complain and ask for some sort of compensation we never even received a reply, no apology or compensation."
