Appart'hôtel Saint Jean

The pictures in ******* and the property reality are very different. Our apartment was in a bad shape. The cabinets were broken, the place overall was smelly, the walls were dirty. I don’t recommend to stay at this place at all!

Great location but the property seriously needs a major overhaul. The bedroom was small with very light beds , bathroom was small with a bath/ shower with little pressure. Living area was unkept worn and uncomfortable. Only a few sockets in entire apartment . A deposit had to be paid to get cutlery which were not clean ,fridge was iced over and a service charge if you needed towels changed. Over all disappointing, un comfortable , every thing was worn . There are much better accommodation options in Lourdes The only positive we’re the staff who were most helpful and attentive .

Really looked forward to staying here but was very disappointed overall The pros Location is great , right in the heart of Lourdes so easy walk to sanctuary , shops , restaurants and bus stop. Size of the apartment was also ok ( we booked a family apartment so should of had 2 bedrooms and separate kitchen / sitting area with balcony and a classic apartment which is 1 separate bedroom with kitchen / dining . What we got initially was a studio room ( bed in same room as kitchen with separate bathroom , dining table was touching end of bed and a window ) and a 1 bedroom apartment which had a bunk bed in the kitchen area ( room 406) with a window looking directly into another room. I asked for a change on this room and got room 402, so had 2 single beds in a room with large window and a double couch bed in kitchen area with a balcony that was 2 foot wide but had stunning views so better. What we didn’t expect was the deposit in case of breakages of €100 ( I took room pics of other peoples damage and showed reception immediately) the box of self catering stuff provided , cups , plates ect to be collected from reception and the overall untidy and dirty room conditions. All 3 rooms we were in had the same issues. Coming to Lourdes with vulnerable people I didn’t expect the room to be a possible health hazard due to lack of basic cleaning and having to ask for basics like toilet roll , clean blankets and sheets surprised me. We had an early flight home & reception staff actually came to check our rooms before handing back the deposits that we paid in cash. Pictures don’t lie Home in door was room 406 when we checked in . Rest are of room 402 . The girl who checked us in on Monday , we didn’t see her again , another girl was left to deal with the issues.

The apartments are quiet centrally located just a few hundred meters from the shrine and the town centre . Over all quiet disappointed with their condition . They were worn , tired and unmaintained . The sink was located under a low press with the hob positioned on the draining board area with a fridge underneath. The wooden back panel behind the sink was chipping away .Cutlery had to be collected at reception with a deposit to be paid but not always enforced. The bathroom was small and equipment flimsy , bath had a shower head but low water pressure, handbasin was worn and no plug to stop the water. The towels were not changed for the duration of our stay , only when we were leaving this happened at an extra cost . The bed rooms were small with very light beds low to the ground . The floor surface was worn . Overall poorly kept worn and not fit for purpose . They were cheap at €88 per room per night but for a few € more I’d imagine there is better comfort to be found in Lourdes . One positive were the staff who were most helpful , friendly and knowledgeable.. They went out of their to assist you .

Staff was friendly and breakfast was good as buffet but fruits were there it’s would have been great but overall experience is good . We will recommend to others and we will came again next year

The appartment was very basic but had everything we needed. The price was very good, the bed was comfortable and a bath and shower was available with hot water. The location is great, being very close to bars, restaurants and shops and the Lourdes domain was a five minute walk away.

Good place near the main church building.Opposite to River. Payed/Free parking available near to Hotel.Many restaurants to eat nearby. Many shops nearby to purchase things.Everything looks good. Dont have much things in Kitchen except Stove top,Microwave,cofee machine. I was expecting few utensils but it's not there. So plan accordingly. otherwise its good stay.

This hotel has an excellent location. It is just four blocks from the Sanctuary, so many restaurants by its property, the bus station is across from the street and the breakfast was excellent. And think that the hotel is a little bit old but has an excellent service, the place is clean and comfortable. I saw the hotels that are next to this and I bet they have the same concept but a higher price. If I come again, I will stay here.
