F Zeen Kefalonia

Disappointing overall. Whilst some members of staff were lovely, many were aloof and unfriendly, particularly those working at reception. We did not feel warmly welcomed or supported during our stay. Whilst the facilities are nice, the hotel is too small for the number of guests that can stay. It was difficult to find a bed by the pools. Food was decent but overpriced. When it was time to check out, they called our room (it was 5 mins after checkout time) and when we got to the front desk we were told “it’s about time”. Overall not a 5* experience.

Our stays at the hotel have generally been very positive, with certain highlights that make us return year after year. In particular, Stamos and Anna provide exceptional service — their warmth, dedication, and genuine care for guests profoundly enhance the overall experience, making us feel valued, welcomed, and truly special. Their contribution is invaluable and deserves the highest recognition. However, during our most recent stay, we noticed several areas where the experience has changed and could be improved. The breakfast offering lacked fresh salads and vegetables, and the bread basket did not include fresh/dark-baked breads. Additionally, the new breakfast setup feels very formal and does not encourage socializing among guests, which was a valued feature of the previous buffet arrangement. We also sensed a shift in the overall atmosphere. Compared to earlier visits, interactions felt much more formal and lacked the personal, friendly touch that once made us feel part of a welcoming hotel family. There appears to be tension between management and staff, and the focus seems to have moved towards revenue generation rather than prioritizing guest experience. This change was also reflected in the management's attitude, which sometimes came across as arrogant. On a positive note, the cleaning staff provided outstanding service — consistently thorough, attentive, and professional, greatly contributing to the comfort of our stay. However, the spa and massage personnel, while friendly and creating a welcoming atmosphere, appeared inexperienced, which affected the quality of the treatments. We were a bit disappointed by the lack of diversity represented on the hotel’s website and social media channels. This does not represent the full diversity of guests and detracts from creating an inclusive environment. In summary, while we continue to appreciate the dedication of key staff members, particularly Stamos and Anna, we hope the hotel will address these concerns to restore the warm, inclusive, and relaxed atmosphere that has made our previous stays so memorable.

Our F Zeen Retreat stay was everything we hoped for, we will defiantly return again, The the location and grounds are beautiful and wellness facilities to match . Restaurant food was lovely with a wonderful menu to choose from. All the staff were knowledgable, helpful and friendly. We highly recommend this F Zeen Retreat for wellness holiday.

Highly recommended. The food, the setting, the staff and the facilities are outstanding. I cannot recommend F Zeen highly enough and have faith that whoever goes there will have an amazing experience. Close to the beach and a short taxi ride from the airport.

F Zeen is a very special place, like no other. 20 minutes away from the airport, The design and decor of the hotel is beautiful and sympathetic to the surrounding area, the views are wonderful. As it is spread over 3 floors, it never feels too busy. The App is so easy to use to book classes and the choice is huge. The teachers were friendly and helpful. The food was outstanding. The Spa treatments delightful. The outdoor cinema a great experience. The staff very friendly and attentive. I simply cannot wait to visit again.

Wow my first time travelling solo in search of yoga and some healthy space as a busy working mum of teenagers. This was just perfect. The resort is beautiful and so many thoughtful touches. The room was lovely with glorious locally made toiletries. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. I never felt lonely. The classes were all excellent I did lots of yoga en Pilates and had 2 weight PT sessions 1:1 which were tailored and excellent. The spa was wonderful with treatments lasting longer than expected with skilful staff. The food was fresh and balanced. It was very quiet end of season and some things on the seafront were already closed. However weather was perfect c 25 sunny in the day and chilly evening. Worth brining socks and shawl to sit outside for the evening cinema. I’m booking to come back and highly recommend. I’m going home feeling restored and a healthier and fitter mummy!
