Laojunshan Zhenyun Cliff View B&B

Due to a last-minute change in plans, I couldn't get a regular room and had to book a tent. I was expecting it to be quite cold at night, but it turned out to be really comfortable. The environment was also lovely. We were fortunate to have clear skies after the rain, allowing us to enjoy stargazing at night and catch the sunrise in the morning. It was a wonderful experience! 👍

To be honest, for a guesthouse tucked away in the mountains, this place is remarkably good. I particularly loved the ancient, historic path leading up to it – it genuinely felt like stepping back in time! While there were a few minor drawbacks, they absolutely paled in comparison to the stunning views from the property. We had originally hoped to catch the sunset and sunrise, but the weather wasn't on our side that day. Nevertheless, given the guesthouse's location, on any clear day, you can witness an incredible sea of clouds. It's truly breathtaking!

What a fantastic summer getaway! Staying in the luxurious 'Cloud-Pillow Cliff-View King Room' at Laojun Mountain's Golden Summit felt like stepping into a celestial palace. From the comfort of our bed, we watched the sea of clouds, admired the majestic peaks, and witnessed the sunrise. Falling asleep under a canopy of stars was an experience of such profound bliss, it was truly breathtaking!

The glass-floored room was absolutely spectacular! Directly below your feet stretched the Ten-Mile Gallery, and before your eyes, a breathtaking sea of clouds and majestic mountains unfolded. Early in the morning, far from the hustle and bustle of the crowds, you could witness the sunrise directly from the outdoor terrace. This was then followed by a delightful breakfast. The entire experience was so enchanting that it made me completely forget about going home and wish I could stay forever.

Located on the mountaintop, after booking, they immediately reached out via WeChat to share important information and tips. Even at 8 PM that night, while we were still up at Jinding, they messaged us to check on our progress. The service was exceptionally detailed and thoughtful. Our room came equipped with a smart toilet, and the shower used pure mountain spring water. They even provided a Dyson hairdryer. The fridge was also stocked with complimentary beverages. The only minor drawback was the lack of internet access, as the network cable had been damaged. The views from the room and the guesthouse's terrace were stunning; the moonrise over the eastern peaks at night was particularly beautiful, though my phone unfortunately couldn't capture its true splendor.

After years of anticipation, I finally made it to Laojun Mountain to witness its magnificent beauty. Staying overnight on the summit was also part of my plan, and overall, the experience was fantastic. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, and the tent accommodation offered excellent value for money. As for the scenery, it was simply breathtaking – truly beyond words!
