very very good The most loved place in this trip! Love the vibes and peace and calm at 金山岭长城 Recommend this place to stay! The boss is very good and friendly, he told us how to explore to the fullest, and he told us to eat at opposite as his restaurant is currently under construction and as per him, it will be done by this October. Will definitely back to this place again! Recommend to stay at least one night to catch the sunset, moon, starry night and sunrise! And of course, it will be a good place for short getaway and maybe even a long stay! Really love this. Thank you to the friendly boss, lady boss, driver who fetched us from Gubeikou train station and all the people I met🫶 I shall see yall soon

The hotel is located very close to jingshangling tourist center, allowing to easily climb for the sunrise. The owner is very nice and will give you many tricks for your climb. Need to be recommended+++

This was one of our favourite places in China, the surroundings are awesome, beautiful and peaceful. The best place to see the great wall if you don't like crowds. The host is realy nice and helpful. We are vegetarian is not easy to find food in China, but he recommended us the restaurant across the street, and they made tasty vegetarian food for us. I would definitely come back in the future.

I cannot recommend this place enough! Firstly, we needed to drop our bags off at 10am once the train arrived in Gubeikou and they were so happy to let us into our room/hold our bags that early. Then they subsequently wowed us with their hospitality. They gave us their contact so they could give us a ride back to the accommodation from the base of the walk at Jinshanling at the end of the day. They upgraded our room. They recommended an excellent and well priced restaurant for dinner (across the road). They arranged a car to take us to the base of the wall at 0320 for sunrise. The room was beautiful, clean and beds so comfy after a day walking the wall

We had a lovely stay at the farmhouse. The owner is really kind and helps you planning to go to the wall and all the transfer you need after. Room was very clean and modern. Would definitely recommend!

We had a fantastic stay at the Mufong farmhouse. We arrived around 6 pm, planning to watch the sunrise at the Great Wall the next morning, but we had not prepared anything yet. The kind owner (who speaks English very well) explained us the entire route we could walk and which paths were closed, and on top of it, he had arranged a taxi for us to drive us to the wall at 4 am. Also, in need or dinner, he pointed us to one of the restaurants across the street that he recommended, which had amazing food and a very friendly owner as well. Next to that, the room was very clean and had anything you could need during your stay. 10/10!

The owners are very friendly and helpful. The bed is hard and the room equipment is very basic. Good for one night if you are hiking at Jinshanlin.

This was my favourite place to stay in all of China and I’ve stayed for over a month The hosts were so nice and very helpful and the rooms were amazing, brand new and very clean I wish all accommodation was like this The owner went out of this way multiple times to make sure I was good and even brang me some really tasty food I ended up staying for 5 days I loved it so much :) The combination of the Great Wall on your doorstep the beautiful room and the hosts I highly recommend this place
