Lugu Lake Arabella Lake View Manor

The room was excellent; we even received a complimentary upgrade to a 270-degree view room on the 3rd floor. The environment was beautiful, and the hotel's design aesthetic is truly on point. They also provided round-trip shuttle service to Daloshui Village, and the service was absolutely superb. Breakfast was delicious 😋 – my friends and I polished off everything, haha! Butler Shiqi's service was also incredibly thoughtful, diligent, and responsible. Facilities: Excellent and comprehensive. They had everything from a projector to a washing machine, and even a full pack of face towels was provided, which was a thoughtful touch. 👍 Service: Perfect! 😍

Both the environment and service at this hotel were the best of our entire trip. The hotel's terrace offers panoramic sea views. We booked an RV room, which kept the children thrilled for ages as they constantly played and bounced around in the garden right outside our room. Inside, the large bed allowed us to stargaze, and simply opening the room door revealed stunning sea views – this environment absolutely delighted the kids! The hotel's breakfast was also superb, a set menu that even convinced my dad, who usually skips hotel breakfasts, to join us. Staying at this hotel meant we hardly needed to plan anything; they provided excellent recommendations for Lugu Lake's sightseeing routes, boat ticket purchases, and local specialty foods. This is definitely a hotel we would stay at again! The only downside was the extremely steep road leading up to the hotel. It's so narrow that if another car comes down, there's no way to pass. I suggest the hotel seriously look into improving this. Our favorite feature was the hotel's shuttle service within a 5km radius. Initially, both my dad and the kids were skeptical, but by the end, they were all giving it a big thumbs-up!

Even the most dedicated staff can't make up for poor hygiene standards. This is precisely why we didn't extend our stay and checked out promptly on the second day. I sincerely hope the management addresses these hygiene issues: 1. There was a cockroach squashed onto the sole of a bathroom slipper, which looked like it had been there for ages. Forget about sanitization; even a basic cleaning would have prevented this. 2. One of the bath towels had clearly been used and simply refolded without being washed, then presented to us as fresh. It lacked the crisp folds of a clean towel, felt noticeably damp, and was visibly different from the other one.

The room was absolutely fantastic. I could have easily spent the entire day in bed just enjoying the lake view, without even needing to step outside. The staff, especially Er Che, provided excellent service, even helping with our luggage. Parking was also very convenient. I also found the dining options nearby to be the most plentiful around Lugu Lake.

This hotel offers fantastic value for money. As a family of four, we were impressed from the start! Upon arrival, the staff immediately helped us with our luggage. They even noticed we had a Hami melon and offered to cut it for us in the evening and deliver it to our room – truly personalized and thoughtful service! Although the hotel is nestled on a mountain, the views are absolutely stunning, providing a panoramic vista of the entire Lugu Lake. Our children loved the hotel too! Their response time to messages was also incredibly fast. When our washing machine door got stuck after a cycle, they promptly came to our room to resolve the issue as soon as we messaged them. In the mornings, we enjoyed a wonderfully hearty and substantial breakfast. We would absolutely choose to stay here again if we get the chance!
