Ce studio n'offre aucune intimité sonore par rapport au studio voisin. La cloison de séparation est si fine qu'il est possible d'entendre le moindre bruit (conversations, télévision et même les ronflements). Il y a également une porte d'intercommunication entre les 2 appartements qui accentue l'effet. Les odeurs de cuisines du voisin passent par-dessous la porte. Les équipements sanitaires, la cuisine, le mobilier sont vieillots et nécessite d'être remplacés au plus vite. Les réparations pour cacher la misère sont réalisés de manière grossière (joints de silicone, mastics pour cacher les coups dans l'émail de la baignoire).
