Luoyang Xigong District Hotels

You might not believe it, but I specifically traveled to Luoyang to stay at this hotel after seeing it recommended in a video! We were offered complimentary fruit upon pickup, and there were more fruits and snacks available to order once we arrived at the hotel. I always appreciate a room with a bathtub, and a soak after a long, tiring day was truly rejuvenating. The breakfast buffet was impressive, offering seafood first thing in the morning, alongside fresh-squeezed juices. I did think a coffee machine would be a good addition. While I enjoy Americanos, not everyone does. A machine could offer espresso and, with milk, a variety of other coffee drinks. 😂 The local specialties like beef soup and *hulatang* (spicy soup) were excellent. But the service truly stood out; they went above and beyond to fulfill almost all our requests. There was a minor incident upon check-out. We checked out at noon, but around 4 PM, I received a call stating that the plastic packaging of a condom in the room had been torn open. I asked my two children, and they admitted they were curious and picked it up, even asking me what it was, which I had seriously explained to them at the time. However, I am certain they did not tear open the outer packaging. Ultimately, the hotel refunded the charge they had initially deducted. Reflecting on it, if no one else had entered the room after our checkout, it's possible a child's nail might have accidentally scratched it, but it certainly wasn't deliberately torn open. I also extended my apologies to the hotel for any misunderstanding.

I rarely write reviews, but this was my first time in Luoyang. After looking at many hotels and guesthouses, I ultimately decided on Fengye with some hesitation. However, I was genuinely not disappointed! The staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful, the elevators were efficient, and the room amenities were also very new. The location is absolutely unbeatable – it's only a few minutes' walk from Jiefang Road subway station, at the intersection of two subway lines, making it incredibly convenient to get anywhere. There's a shopping mall right downstairs, placing it firmly in the city center. I'll definitely stay here again!

As a frequent business traveler who stays in many hotels, this was my first visit here, and it's by far the most satisfying experience I've had. The hotel boasts an excellent location, directly opposite a popular 'internet-famous' snack street, featuring renowned eateries like Xiaojie Guotie and Xiaojie Tianfu. It's also incredibly convenient, just about a 3-minute walk from the subway station. The Tianzi Jialiu Museum is just diagonally opposite, and for those looking to explore, the 'internet-famous' Yingtianmen scenic area is a mere 15-minute walk to the right from the hotel entrance, very close to Tiantang Mingtang. The hotel's unique decor, with its charming retro style, is matched by its incredibly enthusiastic service. The security guard at the entrance was exceptionally helpful, assisting with parking guidance and luggage. The front desk staff were efficient during check-in and patiently explained the local area, offering invaluable tips on navigating nearby tourist attractions and avoiding common tourist traps. Our room was spacious and bright, featuring incredibly comfortable bedding and convenient smart room amenities. The housekeeping staff were also proactively helpful with cleaning. Breakfast was excellent, offering a wide variety, including a delicious local specialty beef soup that was incredibly flavorful. The restaurant staff and chefs were equally enthusiastic and friendly. The afternoon tea was also impressive, with freshly ground coffee, a selection of Haibi (a local Luoyang drink available in many flavors), and delightful small snacks and exquisite mini cakes – all fantastic. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel to anyone I know.

The hotel boasts a lovely environment and the service was incredibly warm and attentive. They were very thoughtful, allowing me to check in early since my high-speed train arrived quite ahead of schedule. Given the hot weather, I wasn't keen on dining out. Fortunately, the hotel has both a Chinese restaurant and a buffet, and the food was excellent. I particularly enjoyed the garlic lobster and scallops, short ribs, beef 'huoshao', black chicken soup, and bullfrog with yellow peppers. The hotel is also conveniently located near a food street, and public transportation is excellent. There are direct bus routes to popular attractions such as Yingtianmen, Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple, and the Luoyang Museum. Furthermore, with a large supermarket right next door, it's super easy to pick up necessities or grab a bubble tea.

I must praise the room I booked this time. The room rates in Luoyang during the National Day holiday were very high. I spent a lot of time choosing this hotel. The location of this hotel is very good and the price is reasonable. It is not far from Jiuzhou Pond, Yingtian Gate, and Tiantang Mingtang. It is about 2 kilometers away. You can get there by bike or electric bike. There is a subway station one kilometer away. It takes 7 stops to reach Longmen High-speed Railway Station. Not far from Xigong Street is Xiaojie Tianfu and other restaurants. It is very convenient to eat. The best thing is that there are two single beds and a bunk bed in the room, which is very friendly for a family of 3 or 4 people. The bathroom is very flush! It is very comfortable to take a shower. The best thing is the lighting system. The interface is simple and easy to operate. Unlike some hotels, you have to press this and that for a long time. There is a voice-controlled sensor light at the door of the bathroom, which is very convenient for people like me who get up at night. There are many types of breakfast, and the children like it very much. I compared it with various things before. The exterior photos look quite old, and I am still worried. In fact, it is quite good inside and very clean. During the National Day holiday, breakfast was served at 6:30 in advance. We also had breakfast on the day we left to catch the train. I will stay here again.

The hotel deserves a total of 5 points for its positioning. First of all, the location is good. It is close to the railway station and the bus station. It is only about 20 minutes' drive from the airport. It is very convenient to travel. Secondly, there are many restaurants and convenience stores around, which are convenient for dining. In addition, it is within a controllable range to tourist attractions. The room facilities are relatively complete, clean and hygienic. The layout is elegant, warm and intelligent. The breakfast dishes are rich. The service awareness of the service staff is also quite strong, reflecting a strong professionalism. For example, Ms. Qianqian, the staff at the front desk, is particularly enthusiastic. She actively provides tourist information and gives guests small gifts before checking out, etc. A series of actions are very heartwarming. I will stay there when I go to Luoyang in the future

The hotel is located in a residential area, opposite a kindergarten, safe and quiet at night. The front desk lady is enthusiastic and the service is very good! Because it has just opened, the room still has some smell, but an air purifier is placed! The main bathroom sink is not installed properly, and it is easy to leak when washing hands. The breakfast is also very good, and there is a special car for pick-up! Overall, I am very satisfied, and my children like it!

It's close to the subway station, making it convenient for commuting. The sanitation was quite clean, and I was satisfied with everything. I wasn't happy with the breakfast. I booked a three-night stay, and the package included two breakfasts per day. When I checked in, I wanted to add one, but was told it would only be available the next day at breakfast, and the price was 9.9. I confirmed it twice. The next day, when I tried to add the breakfast coupon, the receptionist changed it and it became 19.9. I had to use a group buy to get it for 9.9. No wonder they refused to give it to me when I asked for it, and they were waiting for me to pay 19.9! I recommend everyone choosing to stay here if you need to add breakfast, to use a group buy before coming back.

Of my four days in Luoyang, this hotel was the most satisfying. The receptionists were gentle and welcoming, and the cleaning staff always greeted me warmly. The lobby café was small and charming, and the complimentary coffee was excellent. The room was clean, the bedding was comfortable, and the air conditioning was particularly effective and quiet, allowing me to get a good night's sleep. I'll definitely stay at Zhefei again next time I'm in Luoyang!
