The room and bed was comfortable, the staff was great. The shower was great, the balcony was an added bonus. Coffee and snacks in the morning was nice. The parking was very easy and convenient. The only thing I would say is that the pictures of the beach is a little misleading on the website. It is a rocky beach, no access in walkable distance that we could see. However there is a marvelous beach across from the Kiosks in Liquillo that I highly recommmend. I would stay here again for sure.

This hotel would be okay if it cost around $50 per night but it certainly is not worth the $112 that I paid. The bed/mattress is very basic and looks at least 10 years old. The water in the shower is horrible. It goes from super hot to cold, and back and forth constantly and never stabilizes. So you’re yelling from scorching water and then 3 seconds later the water is freezing without even touching the knobs. The light in the room didn’t work… and when it did work it would flash like a strobe light. So the only light source we had was a small table lamp that had a spider in it. The good things were the parking was convenient and the hotel provided coffee and snacks in the morning. They also have a thing in the lobby for filtered water.

La Selva is a convenient small hotel located right on the water (not a beach). The closest swimable beach is Luquillo a 10 minute drive east. Mine was an overnight stay and La Selva was a fine solution. The bed was firm and very comfortable, room (a double) was good sized and had a small balcony facing the pool/ocean. They have a nice deck in the back. T

Strong ocean waves crash on centuries-old stones at the foot of this boutique hotel. What a view! But a large public beach with all amenities is just 5 min walk away. And a plaza with restaurants and shops is next to the beach. The hotel has everything for a short stay: an air conditioned room with TV, Roku, and a balcony, a pool, drinkable water and ice in the lobby, continental breakfast (coffee with creamery and sugar, two types of crackers, apples and bananas). It is quiet, and only waves might bother someone at night).

this place was a little gem. We absolutely loved it. Only thing i would recommend is some attention to cleanliness at the pool area. But it was such a cute little hotel on the oceanfront and walking distance to the beach. What a beautiful view to wake up to. We absolutely loved it. I want to return with more time. Instructions give for late check in was very helpful. Bathroom was nice. View spectacular. Bed comfy. More pillows would be nice. but loved it.

I had modest expectations before arriving, but once I settled in and explored the hotel and its surroundings I was in awe with the beauty around me. For a touch of paradise at a fair price stay here! The staff provided excellent suggestions for things to do, see and eat in the area and were very knowledgeable of the area and made sure my stay was comfortable.
