Mika Hotel Kabulonga

The place is good and comfortable, meals served at the restaurant are excellent, the staff are welcoming especially at the reception.... good conference facilities but wi-fi cant be a bit slow and some bathrooms needs an upgrade etc... all in all I enjoyed the stay and I would return there if an opportunity opens up. Highly recommend.

They forget to let you know upon checking in that contruction is taking place in the room next door. This isn't a Hotel, its a construction site! Woke up to Construction sounds from the next door room, Grinder machines, hammers, you name it... Plug points in the rooms are falling apart and dangling everywhere. Bar Fridge in the room does not work, there goes our food. Breakfast at 8:30am - Lecol is served instead of Orange Juice, Pineapples and Watermellon - That's it??? Was told Hotel Manager would call me back this morning, nothing since - 17.08.2023. The rooms were clean other than everything else falling apart. The hotel room doors look like they've been kicked in from the outside... Never going Back to Mika Hotel! ***Definitely DO NOT RECOMMEND this hotel***

Lovely staff which were more than happy to help. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

Ok place to stay. Nothing special although staff very friendly and helpful when around. Unfortunately alot of 24/7 noise from refrigeration unit's beside room at rear as well as on-going ironworks cutting amd soldering during stay beside pool, as well as sunday church services inside hotel. Not the type of relaxation desired... are hotels church's?

The condition of the first room allocated was very poor. The next day, as I was eligible for a free upgrade if available, they gave me an executive suite which was a improved save that the bath water leaked over the bathroom floor instead of going out the sluice, the shower fitting needed repairs as well as door lock. All were fixed within 4 hours. For the price, the hotel offered fair value for money.
