"I've stayed in five star hotels around the world, and this was among the best if not the best. And certainly in terms of price/performance, it could not be beat. We paid HK$1200 (about US$150) for a 45 sq meters room with balcony. Things got off to a good start when they upgraded us to a villa which would have been perhaps 30% more expensive had we selected that....still an amazing deal. The room was pure luxury, with every amenity you could want. No cutting corners in this hotel, everything was top quality, right down to the little fountain in the courtyard of our villa. All the staff were very helpful and professional. I don't speak Mandarin, so my wife was in charge of communication and had no complaints at all. Some of the staff spoke English, but certainly not all of them, so a translation app might be useful. Our villa was a 20 minute walk from the restaurant and reception, so we had to call for a buggy ride, but never had to wait more than a few minutes. The breakfast buffet is huge and caters to both Chinese and western tastes with lots of fruit and vegetables available. The baguette was outstanding even for a western five star -- to find this quality bread in a Chinese hotel was very surprising. The swimming pool and the gym looked great, but after a full day in the park, both of us were too tired to take advantage of either. The hotel is 20 minutes walk away from the main bus station within the National Park. On the first day you need to take a ten minute taxi ride to the South Entrance to buy your ticket. After that you can ask the front desk for directions to the Wuyi Palace bus stop which will save you time -- or take a taxi there which will save you even more time. "

"Yuehua Hotel has an excellent environment and a super good geographical location. It faces Dawang Peak and is located on the bank of Chongyang Creek. It has convenient transportation and is very close to the scenic area. It is suitable to take a taxi or bus. It is located in the center of the resort. Impression Market and Sangu Old Street are within walking distance. Shopping and eating are very convenient. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and there are welcome fruits. The equipment and facilities are complete, and the sound insulation is also very good. It is quiet and good to sleep. The restaurant dishes are rich and delicious. The breakfast is a combination of Chinese and Western, and it also combines a lot of Wuyi Mountain special snacks. The breakfast of the mountain people makes the whole day full of energy. The dishes in the Chinese restaurant are worthy of praise both in terms of plating and taste. The hotel service is also very good. The lobby manager Xiao Wu is warm and thoughtful, and flexibly arranges what is needed. The front desk service is also very good, and the check-in is quick. "I chose a cost-effective hotel on Ctrip. It was newly renovated but not very decorated. The lobby was super beautiful. I ordered the signature dish in the restaurant. The lotus seeds were delicious. It is worth recommending."

It is quiet and comfortable. The ancient wharf in the back garden has a high content of negative oxygen ions. The lobby managers Shuyi and Joan are warm and thoughtful, introducing strategies and providing help. The breakfast is fresh and has local characteristics, and there will be a tea ceremony. "The two-day trip was very enjoyable even though it rained.
