Check in was pretty fast and easy. The rooms are pretty decent with size, but only allow 2 adults and 1 child on the double bed. Paying for an additional bed for adult costs CHF 80, which is reasonable. However, since I have 2 young kids, I also have to pay for the additional bed. Though not a big deal, but hope hotel can revise the occupancy policy to offer family with 2 young child to stay in without additional costs, Location wise, it’s fantastic. Next to a university.

The area is modern and convenient, though if you’re looking for a more historic, traditional Swiss setting, you might prefer something in the Old Town. Rooms – 8.5/10 The rooms are spacious, clean, and modern, with comfortable beds, stylish decor, and large windows offering great views of either the lake or mountains. Some rooms have floor-to-ceiling windows, making the scenery even more spectacular. The bathrooms are sleek and well-equipped, and amenities like a Nespresso machine, minibar, and a work desk add extra comfort. Service – 8/10 The staff is professional, friendly, and efficient. Check-in and check-out are smooth, and the concierge is helpful in offering local recommendations or organizing activities. Some guests have noted that the service can feel a bit business-oriented rather than warm and personal, but overall, it’s efficient and reliable. Dining – 8/10 The on-site restaurant and bar offer a good selection of food and drinks, with a mix of Swiss and international cuisine. Breakfast is buffet-style, with fresh pastries, cheeses, cold cuts, eggs, and great coffee. The variety is good, but during peak times, the breakfast area can feel crowded. My room was upgraded to a bigger room with two single beds. The service was very good and the room was clean and neat. Everything seems quite new. It takes about 8 mins to walk from the train station or bus station so a pretty good location by the beautiful lakeside. Nothing to complaint about!

The room is nice

The room was spacious, bright, quiet, comfortable, and cozy, very close to Lucerne train station (500 meters), making it convenient for getting around. Just 300 meters from the door, you could see Lake Lucerne and the Hofkirche Tower reflected in the lake – a truly stunning view. The Chapel Bridge at night was also within walking distance. Service was up to standard, and facilities were complete. Breakfast met four-star standards, although the vegetables were a bit limited. Rooms were cleaned every two days, ensuring good privacy. Suitable for all types of business and leisure travel.

I was lucky enough to be upgraded to a lake view suite by the front desk. It was spacious, with a 270-degree lake view from the living room. The room was spotless, the bedding was comfortable, and the air conditioning was powerful, keeping the room warm. The hotel's location was also excellent. There's a good Thai restaurant downstairs, and the main attractions are all within walking distance. Finally, the area was very safe, making it easy to go out at night.
