during my stay, elevator never fix, night time desk unfriendly, high hill location is worse.

The rooms are huge at this hotel. The "basic" room is a studio with a loft. You can do a somersault in the bathroom. You can cartwheel in the studio. Space is definitely not an issue. However, when traveling with children, a few things need to be keenly aware. If you take public transportation (bus and metro), you will need to walk up a pretty steep hill. So for the physically challenged, this can be tricky. If you have young children who fall asleep, then you better have strong arms and legs to carry them back to the hotel. At night, you will have to walk through some seedy areas of Lyon....again not great with children. I didn't feel it was "unsafe" but the aesthetics is probably not suitable for children. The exterior of the building and hotel grounds is shown in the photo below. On the other hand, having so much space in the room with kids, and having a kitchen in the studio definitely helps if you want to relax and retire early for the day. I cannot really comment on the service of the hotel. We didn't have to ask for anything special. The rooms are clean, and everything we need was already in the room.

The best point is to bring free parking spaces, which are rare in urban areas, but parking spaces are on a first-come, first-served basis. If you arrive in the evening, there will be no play, and it is recommended not to move the car when you stop the car. It is not convenient to drive in the urban area. .
The room is very small and the design is not very reasonable. For 7 days, the corridor is equipped with a sink. It is better to use the space in the area near the bed.
The service deduction is because there is always no one at the front desk. I tried to check out twice, but I couldn't find anyone. I really didn't want to waste time and put the key at the front desk.
The location is convenient, next to the small literary block, which is actually like a cement forest. In a building and patio that seems to be abandoned but still inhabited by people, there are a lot of graffiti, and you can look across the river from the parking lot.

Sofa bed was a camp bed. Worst bed in my life. Wireless was not working in half the room. I had problem with my safe and I had to call 4 times to get it unlock. Finally the phone was not working.

Everything was fine until the Sunday night techno-music concert. We were not informed and had to get up at 4:00 am to catch a plane. Not a good night’s sleep. Everything else was good, including breakfast. Mercí encore.

In general a nice place to stay. Great location and friendly staff. The room was comfortable and had a good size. However, one thing that was really annoying, was the poor Wi-Fi.

We booked this place because it has onsite parking which is hard to find in Lyon area. If you do not drive to the hotel, it might be challenging to walk to it with the luggage. The hotel meets our need.

No AC, so it was warm-they did provide a fan. Outside of the main attractions, so without a car it was about a 10-15 walk to get anywhere of interest. Super helpful personnel.
