This hotel is very conveniently located where the popular areas in District 1 are within walking distance, including Ben Thanh Market and Nguyen Hue Walking Street. You will be staying right next to the Japanese Street. Good food and proper massage places are nearby. The staff are very pleasant, super helpful and all of them speak English. The first room I was provided had a smoky smell and without much fuss, the staff arranged another room for me almost straight away. I was there for a business trip and I really appreciate the prompt and helpful service.

Great convenient location that has all the expected amenities.

It's what somebody from Australia like myself would consider a boutique style hotel.

Rooms are clean and tidy which was to be expected as I am told the hotel has only been open for a month.

The small rooftop pool was a good spot to cool off from the heat which was often not busy.

I want to commend the team there (apologies to the rest of the team but, the only name that comes to mind is Sam) who were ALL extremely helpful and attentive often going well out of their way should I have absolutely any enquiry whatsoever.

Being in management myself, I hope this is read by all levels of management, the whole team front to back of house are superstars and need to be recognised for their work and efforts.

Check-in was quick and efficient. All communication was done through messaging, which was very convenient. The staff were friendly and helpful, including both the housekeeping and front desk teams. 
The room was clean and reasonably priced. The location is also quite good—just a short walk to 7-Eleven, restaurants, and cafés. Popular tourist areas are around 800 meters away, making it easy to explore on foot.

Modern Design. New. Helpful front desk. the washing machine with dryer a plus for us as we travelled more than a week before checking in. Did not book breakfast as a lot of street food for breakfast. We also have a Facewash Fox Spa with high end facial sebum, acne, dark head treatment by foxy group who rented a space below the hotel. This is an actual face spa and not the usual hair and face cleaning. it takes about 60 minutes from face profiling using high end scanners and with various packages from usd30-usd50

This is the second time I stayed at this M village brand hotel. This location is a bit tricky so hear me out. Hotel is located in a small alley way that cars can barely drive in. That is because both side of the street is filled with street vendors that flourishes at night time. The alley way is dirty, smelly and some puddle of waste water here and there. Once you arrived at the door steps of the hotel you are good. the building is nicely renovated and looks fine. Given all that said, the location is of the hotel is still awesome because you are just a couple blocks away from the Takashimaya shopping center and Saigon central. And walking distance to large street intersection that had street events at night. The bar street is just around the corner adjacent to the hotel alley. If you don't mind getting harass by the bar girls that are looking for your business. All the action is literally 1-10mins walk day or night activities. The room itself is on the smaller side. The shower is the worse design with a swing door acting as the shower door and toilet door. that idea just doesn't work well. worse shower I had by far in Ho Chi Minh City and I switch hotel everyday for a week at different price point. Staff speak English and is attentive and helpful. However, they can't fix the things the building's downside.

it's a nice studio, with plenty of open shelves for storage. it would be nice to have a chair though, i struggled to find a place to do my makeup. 

room is very clean. the receptionist and housekeeping staff are very helpful and accommodating too, i appreciate their help a lot! :) 

location is great! plenty of food, beauty salons and convenient stores nearby. if you can brave the traffic and heat, you can definitely walk to the shopping street and city area. 

overall a very enjoyable stay, apart from the little power trip incident for an hour, it was terrifying navigating down the building in the dark without the elevator.

The staff were very friendly, & attended to our requests promptly! The location is good too, there is a 711 right in front of the building & it’s a walkable distance to different tourist attractions & markets. However there were some faulty amenities, like the bidet which was broken & the aircon which leaked. The staff were very friendly & attended to the issue promptly.

I recently stayed at M Village Hai Bà Trưng, and I must say, it was an exceptional experience from start to finish. The hotel itself is modern, stylish, and well-maintained, offering a cozy and comfortable stay in the heart of Ho Chi Minh City.

What truly stood out, however, was the outstanding service—especially from the lady at the front desk named Rosie . She was incredibly attentive, professional, and welcoming, making me feel valued as a guest. From the moment I arrived, she ensured that everything was taken care of, providing helpful recommendations and always greeting me with a warm smile. Her level of service truly elevated my stay and made it even more enjoyable.

The rooms were clean and well-designed, with thoughtful amenities that made my stay comfortable. The location is also a plus, with easy access to great cafes, restaurants, and attractions in District 1.

Overall, I highly recommend M Village Hai Bà Trưng, not just for its great facilities but for the exceptional hospitality. A big thank you to the front desk team for making my experience so memorable!

So pleased with the service from Dang. The facilities quite sufficient for its price. Value for money. Only suggestion, we stay in a deluxe room for 2 persons. It would be nice to have an extra chair.

I recently stayed at ”M Village Living Hoang Van Thu” in Ho Chi Minh City, and it was a fantastic experience! The hotel’s location is a major highlight—conveniently situated just 20 minutes from the airport and close to central districts, it’s perfect for travelers. 
The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean, and beautifully designed with a calming beige palette and classic touches. I loved the comfy beds and the mini kitchen, which made my stay feel like home. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, always ready to assist with a smile. While it’s slightly removed from tourist hotspots, the nearby cafes and restaurants more than make up for it. The free laundry service was a pleasant surprise, and the peaceful ambiance was a welcome escape from the city’s bustle. 
I’d highly recommend M Village Living Hoang Van Thu to anyone seeking a tranquil, modern retreat with easy city access—it’s a gem worth discovering!

The hotel was everything my partner and I could’ve ever wanted in a new country .It was close to everything ,I was able to walk almost everywhere .There is a shopping centre opposite the hotel and a few stores near the hotel .The room was spacious and had a mini fridge,a wardrobe and a cute little balcony .The hotel staff were so helpful throughout our stay .I will definitely come back here

I recently stayed and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. The room was spotless and tastefully decorated, creating a warm and relaxing atmosphere. The lighting was cozy, and the furnishings—including a comfortable work desk, cushioned chair, and large bed—made the space feel both functional and inviting.

The room included modern amenities such as a smart TV and a stylish bathroom, and everything was well-maintained. I especially appreciated the thoughtful touches like the soft pillows, blackout curtains for a good night’s sleep, and the overall quiet environment.

The hotel corridor was clean and well-lit, giving a strong first impression. This stay truly exceeded my expectations and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and relaxing place to unwind.

Excellent services provided by the hotel staff. Andy and his team were friendly and helpful in giving recommendations. Common area, laundry, gym and rooms were clean and well-maintained. Hotel was close to roof top cafe, local food places, bakery and supermarkets. Was easy to get grab services to old quarters. Will recommend hotel to travellers to Hanoi.

Loved our time here! We had stayed at another M Village facility in Ho Chi Minh City previously and we’re looking forward to our stay here, it did not disappoint. 
Staff reached out to us before arriving and check in was smooth. They even provided great suggestions for local food.
Always love the laundry facilities and water filter. This room didn’t have its own fridge, but we put some food in the communal one upstairs.
Really didn’t have any issues at all, would gladly stay here again and it’s in a great location too!

This hotel offers ample facilities, neither too much nor too little. While the location may seem a bit off-putting, it's conveniently located between the Old Quarter and Lotte Mart Seoho, making it a great option for exploring various destinations.

The staff are mostly young and fluent in foreign languages, and they seem well-trained in hospitality.
The attitude of the female manager, who is in charge, was particularly impressive.

We fell in love with this hotel, Signature by M Village! 
It is build based on the heritage site but the interior are all refurbished in a modern yet classical taste. 

Staff are all very caring and professional. Location is convenient, you can go to downtown by 1USD by Grab. So it is very convenient. Breakfast is your choice day by day but of good quality. It offers free laundry ( washing machine and dryer) during the day, which is very convenient!

Only thing is no lift for 2nd floor as it is only 2 storey heritage bldg but staff are willing to help to carry luggage for you so not a big concern. 
the shower room and toilet is separated which is good but no covered place to change so the room is mainly meant for couple. But these are minor issues. I will recommend this hotel to my friends:)

‼️I am writing to warn everyone who is going to stay at this hotel. Our money was stolen in USDT, I also suspect that in local currency too, but I am not sure. When we checked in, my friend and I left our wallets in the safe, and only when we checked out, we discovered the loss at the airport. The wallet was never taken out during our entire stay at the hotel, since we had cash in local currency. Therefore, I confirm that the money was stolen directly from the safe. I could not believe it until I became a victim of this situation. After the loss, I immediately wrote to the hotel, they kindly replied that they would help sort everything out. But in the end, after long discussions, they said that the safe could not be broken into and no one had access to it. They advised me to check all my things again, but I knew how much money I had, not the entire amount was stolen. And only part of it, out of 1000 dollars, 600 were stolen. I couldn't go to the police because I only discovered it at the airport and by accident when I wanted to buy gifts from duty free. Please don't leave your money in the safe, bad people are everywhere, everywhere there are loopholes to steal it. I hope this will help someone! And the hotel staff, after reading my review, will be more vigilant towards the staff! ‼️
