Owners Frank and Murielle are some of the kindest people I have ever had the pleasure of interacting with in all of my travel experiences. We encountered a couple challenges during our stay, and they went out of their way to assist and help make sure we had an enjoyable and comfortable stay. I am honestly very touched by their generosity. The hotel is located just outside of Maastricht, but it's quite easy to access city centre by bus. The property is a historic building with simply furnished rooms. We also enjoyed the restaurant for both dinner and breakfast.

This is a typical family run hotel restaurant and highly recommended for a stay. Very clean bathrooms and the breakfast consists of only fresh bakery products and no supermarket food! You can also enjoy a delicious dinner. Beds are very good and clean and room has a perfect working television. The only downside i think is that there are too few sockets. We decided it's a place to come back to and to recommend to friends!

This is a very traditional hotel run by the Visser brothers and there is always a warm welcome here. Rooms are great, cl an and bathrooms excellent. The restaurant has a wide choice and breakfast also. Parking is on site and Maastricht a short drive or bus ride away.

Been here with a Bongo with dog. Ideally located outside the city but you can ben in the city center in about 10 minutes really. And the ideal start for walking into the nature. The room was clean and enough space for two adults, our son of 10 and our dog. Clean bathroom as the rest of the hotel as well to be honest. Simple but nice and tasty breakfast. We also had dinner one evening and the menu selection is limited, yet I think the majority will be able to find something of their preference.

The In den Hoof is a great family run hotel, we enjoy staying here with the Visser family. The rooms are great always beautifully clean, and there is a great restaurant and breakfast, though no breakfast on this stay. We had a great dinner and the beer was welcome after a long journey. We will always return to this hotel.

Dit hotel is gelegen naast een drukke baan juist aan de rand van Maastricht. Ruime parking en afgesloten plaats om fietsen of moto's te stallen . Er is een terras buiten . De bus naar het centrum rijdt om de 20 min en de halte ligt 200m van het hotel. Dichtbij het hotel wandel- en fietswegen. wij hadden een kamer op het gelijkvloers ,geen tapis-plein daar en daar waren we blij mee. . Zuiver sanitair ,goede matras en voldoende opbergelegenheid. Er is geen lift. Sommig kamers op de verdieping hebben wel tapis -plein. Een ijskastje op de kamer was welkom geweest. Heel vriendelijke ontvangst en bediening. We voelden ons welkom. Ontbijtbuffet lekker,geen supergroot buffet maar zeker voldoende. Avondmaal lekker en voldoende. Toeristische folders beschikbaar . Ook enkele gezelschapsspelen zijn beschikbaar.

Een authentiek restaurant met nette kamers. Het pand en de sfeer ademt historie. De kaart is afwisselend en bestaat uit heerlijke gerechten. Fijne tijd gehad en met de bus zo in centrum Maastricht, de auto blijt bij het hotel. Super geregeld.

Ideaal! Zowel het hotel als het restaurant. De gastvrijheid is enorm. Het bedienend personeel haalt alles uit de kast om je tevreden te stellen. De douche, wc, linnengoed, alles is super schoon! De uitvalswegen zijn dichtbij, geen auto dan de bus pakken aan de overkant van de straat. Enorm bedankt voor deze super belevenis " in den Hoof" Chapeau!!
