Longview Vineyard

Attended a wedding at Longview. About a 45 mins drive from Adelaide centre. Typically what you would expect from staying at a vineyard; quiet, excellent views and personal services. Breakfast was self cooked from eggs and bacon in the fridge. All the F&B in the room was complimentary; including a bottle of white wine. The staff allowed us to check out an hour later at 11, so we could enjoy our breakfast on the balcony.

From the time we arrived we had the best time. Accomodation was clean and comfortable, staff friendly (especially Sam) and gardens beautiful. We were there for a wedding and Longview is the perfect venue if you want a special celebration. Visiting Xavier & Diana from the Day Spa were the perfect post wedding recovery experience. We will definitely be back again - thank you Longview

We had a lovely stay and will definitely return. The rooms were spotless, bright and a nice size. I liked the opening windows to let fresh air in. The little deck outside our room with chairs was a great spot to sip on the quality complimentary wine as a gorgeous day. Even though our room overlooked the car park the bird life was amazing. It is a credit to Longview that they have thought carefully about what they have planted to attract the different varieties of birds. The breakfast provisions were excellent and really good quality products ( I LOVED the granola). The room was lovely and quiet. Our wine tasting was great, we sat outside as such good views. We were well attended with excellent service, great explanations and some nice wines. We appreciated the discount offered to guests. We did have many issues with the internet almost non existant making viewing of some tv stations impossible but this was going to be looked into. It did take us some time to find the towels that were placed in the wardrobe. These minor issues did not detract from our stay. The only thing i would have liked is 4 coffee pods for those of us who need 2 coffees each in the morning :) . However i have no doubt would have been supplied if we had asked. So thank you for a great stay. Next time would like to try the restaurant as again a beautiful spot.

This was such a lovely place to stay - we were en route on Epicurean Way between Barossa Valley and McClaren Vale and went via all the back roads to arrive in this picturesque valley. The climb to the two pines at the back was well worth the effort - as Sam suggested - the vista extends to the mouth of the Murray River. The vines make for a perfect perch for the local pink & grey galahs. The spa/massage centre is beautiful and my face massage fantastic; sitting out in the sunroom later we may have seen a kangaroo.. We were sorry not to be there later in the week when the winery is open for lunch - on thd plus side though, it was a lovely quiet retreat with excellent bed and well equipped kitchen.

Great location close to Langhorne Creek wineries. Accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Staff (Samuel) was excellent, friendly and knowledgeable. Highly recommended.

We just recently spent three fantastic nights at the Longview Vineyard; the accommodation was excellent with relaxing views over vineyards from our balcony and breakfast provisions that certainly met our needs (lots of!!) Sam our host was excellent and his knowledge and expertise of the wines we sampled, drunk and bought was first rate...looking forward to going back to discuss more about Peaky Blinders with Sam and drinking some quality wines in such a peaceful location in the Adelaide Hills...
