Had the pleasure of staying at "Fountain Mahabaleshwar" last weekend. It is a wonderfully maintained picturesque property, and has great views of the Koyna valley. The rooms are very well appointed, luxurious, and extremely clean. Each and every one of the staff members were polite and extremely helpful. It felt as if they anticipated my thoughts and provided great service. I had the opportunity to interact with a few of the staff and I would like to thank them personally for their exemplary service during my stay. "Om Kshirsgar" (Trainee) - always smiling, always helpful "Satyanarayan Mohanty" (Restaurant Manager) - very attentive to all guests during meals. A very pleasant person, he made it a point to interact with each of us. "Shashank Behera (Jr. Sous Chef)" - personally greeted each patron during meal services and took care of our specific dietary needs/options. He was "Tanulima Biswas, Aniket Paul, Mahendra Kimchi" - 3 of the many staffers I interacted with, but these 3 stood out for their attention to detail, pleasing behavior and making my experience at the hotel really outstanding. Kudos to Fountain Mahabaleshwar. Look forward to such exemplary service at other locations too. A resort or hotel is not great just because of location or luxury amenities, it is great when the staff is great.. Fountain Mahabaleshwar has nailed it. 5 Stars from me.

As always great hospitality, we had our pet traveling with us and they were extremely accommodating and helpful to make our stay extremely comfortable by Shalin, Tripti, Anish, Amrut and the entire front desk team. Parvinder, Shashank and the F&B team took care of all our specific requests - all our meals were exceptional bursting with local flavours. The housekeeping team were helpful and meticulous especially since we had a pet with us, they provided us with discarded towels and were available for any help required. The valet, security and bell staff were friendly, prompt, warm and always of great assistance. Our couples spa treatment was also very relaxing and was the cherry on top of my bday trip. Located on the edge of a valley, the view from the boundary of this hotel is just captivating more so in monsoons as the landscape is full of lush green vegetation. The rooms are good sized with good sleep quality. The breakfast buffet has a wide choice of all kinds. The dense fog and heavy showers in July added to the charm of this property which has ample activity areas outdoors as well as indoors. The staff is prompt in rendering services or attending requests of the guests. A few names we found taking initiative in extending services were Tarulima, Hemant and Shashank in the restaurant/bar and the duty manager Shalin at the front desk. All in all, an excellent hotel to be in at Mahabaleshwar.

I was here to celebrate my wife's birthday with my daughter. The property provides a very calm and secluded experience away from the chaos of the city. Trupti and Supriya were super helpful during check-in, check-out and offered us the room upgrade at reception which made us delighted. Housekeeping staff Aman and Tejaswini went out of their way to accommodate special request that I made for my wife's birthday celebration. They decorated the room, offered a complimentary cake and a cute gift for my daughter that made our stay and celebration more memorable. All staff had a smile on their faces throughout! Overall, a wonderful stay.
