There is some sea**** floating in the sea water, I wonder if it is seasonal. Everything else is fine. The service staff were very friendly. According to the regulations, check-in can only be done at 2 o'clock. We were first given a rest room, and then we were able to check in after it was cleaned after 1 o'clock. Beautiful environment, suitable for vacation.

In a backward country like Seychelles, international brands are more secure. It's far away from the bustling places. The sea is quite beautiful. There are no restaurants nearby. You have to drive by yourself.

The hotel automatically upgraded us to a resort. The staffs of the hotel are very enthusiastic and the view is quite beautiful. Except that the breakfast is simple and flawless.

This hotel is quite something. We arrived into our room and instantly felt it was extremely warm, told reception about it, told the air conditioning would be fixed, next day extremely warm again (outside 31c, inside was warmer) spent 4 days of this back and forth game of fixing but never getting fixed until we demanded a room change, basically no sleep for 4 days. The second room had a perfectly working air con and we were happy enough at that point. The hotel is reasonably kept but aging and in desperate need of renovation and tidying up, it just looks shabby everywhere. The food is ok but overall quite bland, we never thought anything tasted especially good, just edible. The prices for anything off the menus are outrageous, drinks cost between 15-30 euro per drink, a simple lunch meal will set you back 30-50 euro, it's crazy. We were forced to partake in the mandatory Christmas and new years "gala" dinner which was basically a bit better buffet for an extra cost of 140 euro per person per event even though we had already paid for half board, another letdown. The staff are friendly enough and do their best I guess, but often you feel they know about all the issues and are annoyed when you point them out (I overheard the air con issue multiple times). The location is alright to get around if you have a rental car but the beach at the hotel is borderline unusable, it's flooded with sea**** on the beach and in the water. Overall I wouldn't recommend staying here, it's extremely expensive and in my view is a 3 star hotel at best, all in all we were quite disappointed with our holiday and from chatting with other hotel guests, they felt the same.

Stayed here as a couple for 6 nights as part of a 2 centre stay in the Seychelles. We rented a hire car for 48 hours and drove around the Island but otherwise stayed at the hotel. As many previous reviewers have commented, the price of food and especially of alcohol is high . Probably as a direct result of this, very few guests seemed to be buying alcohol or other drinks from the bar. There is a snack bar and small shop immediately opposite the hotel which appeared to be regularly used by hotel guests and there are many supermarkets further afield if you have transport. A fridge is provided in the room which is handy. We were on a breakfast only package. The breakfast buffet was adequate but not that inspiring. Eggs can be cooked to order. The buffet items especially the fruit need to be replenished quicker and we often found the food bowls were empty. Similarly replenishment of water and tea/ coffee/ milk in the bedroom was very hit and miss and we had to ask for items to be restocked on several occasions, not because we had used our ‘daily allowance’ so to speak but because the items weren’t restocked when the room was serviced. This was somewhat irritating to say the least and we couldn’t see a reason for it other than lack of attention on the part of the cleaning staff. We ate in the hotel every night but usually ate off the al a carte menu as this was cheaper than the daily buffet . We did enjoy the buffet on the Creole night but otherwise thought the price of the buffet was very high and we didn’t want to feel we had to eat 3 courses just because we had paid for it We opted for a jacuzzi room- which also had a huge bathroom. The room was nice but a bit dated. The views over the ocean from the balcony were fabulous however. There is a gym which we used most mornings but it is not particularly well stocked with 2 treadmills, a bike , a cross trainer and a rack of weights. No mats are provided if you want to do other exercise. If we had had company on our visits, there would have been a problem due to the lack of space and equipment. There also aren’t enough loungers for hotel guests around the pool and beach and beach/ pool towels appear to be rationed- as once the ones put out on the trolley each day have been taken, guests have to ask for a towel as reception. I appreciate this all sounds a bit negative and was going to make my review more positive. Then our dining experience on our last night changed my mind. Despite arriving early, we were told the tables were reserved and we were displaced out of the main dining room and placed on one of 2 tables set up in the adjacent lobby area. This seemed to be in favour of several large groups who had arrived that day. There was no air con and no overhead fans so it was hot and uncomfortable. We were offered dry/ stale rolls whilst we waited for our main course which we sent back. These were replaced with freshly cooked ones 10minutes later. This was not a great way to end our stay and show

Friendly staff, clean hotel. Food is great. Nice choice of breakfast items. Stayed in room 101 which is nice and spacious. We had an evening flight so requested a late check out if available but unfortunately room required for next guest, another room was kindly provided for us to freshen up which was nice of them. Air con only seems to have two fan speeds, low still seems too noisy for night time. Could do with blackout curtains, expect daylight around 6am to gently wake you up.

The location was superb, with easy access to transportation, and the beach was pristine and well-maintained. The culinary offerings were delightful, offering a variety of fresh seafood and local delicacies. The hotel provided a tranquil retreat with a peaceful atmosphere. This hotel is exceptional. It is small enough (30 rooms) to feel like a boutique hotel and its location right on the beach is all one could wish for. Just Amazing, Wonderful place, Friendly People, Quite, 5 star + A must stay when travel to the Seychelles, We will be back. Thank you for making our stay so Wonderful.

Great view from all the rooms of the sea, Staff are very nice, the hotel is quiet, the room is very clean. You can hear the waves from your room, which is very relaxing. The hotel is positioned on the east coast of Mahé at the south so you get nice sunrises. If you ask they will provide you with snorkeling gear, Kayaks, life jackets. They even have a glass bottomed kayak. The breakfast was good, varying slightly each day with eggs to order. We didn’t eat much in the evenings but when we did, the food was nice. Wr couldn’t fault the hotel at all and would recommend it if you want a relaxing stay.
