Ocean Terrace - Adults Only

One of the best hotels I’ve ever been. Perfect peace, quiet and privacy. The hotel, the rooms and the pool terrace are all stunningly beautiful, and the staff are simply brilliant. A family environment, they looked after our every need. Couldn't wish for a better team than Kereck and the ladies! The whole hotel is spotlessly clean and the rooms are fully equipped (e.g. soap, shower gel, shampoo, body lotion, shaving kit, dental kit, toiletries bag, hairdryer, iron, tissues, unlimited mineral water, tea, coffee maker, bathrobe, safe, etc.). There is no dinner option in the hotel, but we could order food, than they served it for us at the amazing terrace. The hotel is on top of a high hill, it's not a good idea to walk up the steep hill, but luckily Kereck came to pick us up with his car when we called him.

Great place outside the touristy area, located on top of a hill. There is a great atmosphere around. Photos don’t give credits to the location itsself. Rooms are spacious, the pool is accessible 24/7 and it’s all very clean and with a good care of details. Be aware you need to rent a car to reach the place. Anse Royale is only 3 minutes by car from the hotel and there are also several take away / restaurants in the village near by. Wifi works very well. Special thanks to Kerreck and the Nepalese guy, they have been both very kind and allowed us to spend a couple of extra hours in the structure meanwhile waiting for our flight back home. We appreciate it a lot!

Will keep it short: best experience ever. The hotel is clean, the service top. The quality of the rooms is insanely good. Watch were the location is, it is not on the beach, but you need a rental car anyway on Mahé. The road to the hotel is steep, but after the second drive - easy going. The stuff is incredibly helpful with all the hikes and activities and so on. It is really a luxury hotel and we can only recommend it to people, who want quality at their holidays and the perfect service.

It is almost impossible to put into words how amazing, awesome and fantastic it is to stay at Ocean Terrace, But I will try!!! :) Once we booked our stay we contacted the Manager Cindy to explain it will be for our wedding/honeymoon. Cindy is a 24 carat diamond! She could not have been more helpful answering every and any question we asked, this was three months before our weeklong stay with them!!!. Upon arrive, we were greeted by such a fantastic view. Tis is because Ocean Terrace is situated on a hill overlooking Fairyland bay. We were also greeted by the General Manager, Kereck. What a wonderful gentleman he is. Between both Cindy and Kereck, as well as the rest of the Ocean team, It is fair to say that this was the holiday of a lifetime. They could not do enough for you, and they treated us like family, and we will always have a very special place in our hearts for them. Both Kereck and Cindy gave us so much helpful information, advice, and guidance. They assisted us when hiring a car with zero hassle. They also took a lot of time and effort to go over the maps of the Seychelles, showing us the main Islands, giving us detailed information on where to go and what to see, in order to best explore Mahe, Praslin and La Digue. Of course, we could not fit it all in, but you know we will be back!!! Breakfast each morning is served with the most spectacular view and it is sooo delicious!!! Star Chef Cherry is a really lovely person not to mention an awesome cook! Her hash browns, bacon, sunny side up eggs and poached eggs give Jamie Oliver a run for his money any day! There is so much to choose from on their breakfast menu, something for everyone. We highly recommend you also try the fresh fruit platter, smoked fish, and continental breadbasket! But don’t eat it all, save a little to go and feed to Octave and Octavia! (the tortoises) :D We also had the opportunity to stay at their sister hotel, Ocean Jewels, on the Island of Praslin. Because we had payed for our stay the whole week at Ocean Terrace they allowed us to stay at Ocean Jewels for free when we went to visit the island of Praslin. They simply handed us over to Mr. Terrance. What a great guy Mr. Terrence is. He could not have been more helpful, especially when we had a logistical complication regarding ferry transportation. However, Mr. Terrence, as well as the whole Ocean team once more swooped in to save the day!!! Finally, we also want to thank Rupak as well as Estelle for all their friendliness and help. So, considering how long this review is, I guess I lied about finding words to describe how great Ocean Terrace and Ocean Jewels is!!! But I can promise you that everything else is the God’s honest truth, quite simply, as they themselves state, Ocean Terrace and Ocean Jewels, truly is, a home from home.

Extermely wonderful and clean hotel. The most helpful and friendly staff we ever had. Nice terrace with pool. The drive was a little bit hard due to the elevation but the staff carried us everywhere. Thanks for ebertyhring, 6 stars( if i could)
