Hotel Raj Palace

Hotel Raj Palace was a great base for our adventures in Maheshwar. The room was comfortable and clean, although a bit small, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Sagar and his family added a personal touch, making us feel really at home, with information about the town and the local area, and assistance as needed. All in all we felt comfortable and well looked after. I recommend a balcony room, overlooking the Narmada River and Raja Rajeshwar Temple. Maheshwar has a lot to offer, being reminiscent of India of old. We explored the whole town on foot, met some very lovely people and could have stayed longer than the 12 days we booked.

Visited 11th Mar, booked through MMT by paying nonrefundable full amount. Worst hotel with extremely inferior rooms. Don't go by seeing the photos in MMT. They literally cheat the customers, who has no option but to stay after paying full nonrefundable money. Refused to stay their after seeing the room and booked other hotel. The staffs of the hotels are most indecent, uneducated. Make my trip or this hotel should refund at least 50% of my booking amount. How do you cheat your customers?? Really surprised, how make my trip encourage such hotels in their portal.

This is one of the best budget hotel. In premises of Ahilyabai fort. You will get warm welcome at hotel reception. Rooms are clean. Great view of Narmada River. You can have a walk at Ahilyabai fort at night and in morning to get amazing and memorizing view.

Excellent location very near to Ghat and Temples, clean rooms ,good service,very helpful staff and owner , definetly recomend for solo and family travelers Has parking facility too, walkable distance from market .

Everyone needs a place to recharge their batteries and finding a family friendly hotel in Maheswar doesn't have to be a difficult task as it doesn't get any better than staying at the Hotel Raj Palace. It is very well located, close to the main tourist attractions of Maheswar, such as: The Ahilya ghats, Raj Rajeshwar temple, Ahilyeshwar temple, Kashvishwnath temple, Ahilya Fort, Queen's Fort, Jaleshwar temple and numerous handmade sari shops. In reality, you do everything on foot. We stayed very well for 7 nights, in a room with a balcony, with a lovely view of the Narmada River and the famous Rajarajeshwara temple. And on top of all that, the wonderful view of the sunrise every day from our room. The Raj Palace Hotel also stands out for offering clean and scented bed linen and towels, shower with hot water, toiletries, flat TV, Wi-Fi, room lit with natural light, equipped with a sofa. The extremely cordial and attentive staff, coordinated by the ***agers Mrs. Kartik and Sagar, made our stay enjoyable enabling us to enjoy the best of holy Maheswar and making our stay unforgettable.

Room were so clean and big, good staff. Highly recommend if you are travelling to Maheshwar. ***dir is just 100 m away from this hotel. View is amazing. Parking is good. No food available but its okay!

Terrific location of the property , within the fort and in close proximity to the Palace and all major temples in Maheshwar , Walking distance to the main Narmada Ghat . Maintenance and cleanliness of the room and corridor is good , abundant hot water supply , bed linen were clean and toilet hygene is truly excellent . Guest Friendly staff . Perfect fit for folks looking at a budget friendly accommodation within the fort complex with a clean and hygenic ambience . Premium rooms do offer a view of the Mighty Narmada River and the balcony of the room I stayed was large enough for me to indulge in a two hour Yoga session overlooking the Narmada at pre dawn in the morning , once in a life time experience for me . A very good budget hotel. Nice neat and clean rooms, washrooms. The hospitality was really good. Each and every member of the team always ready to help and it's leaded by the Sagar, the owner. This is my second visit and this time experts is improver then previous visit. The location is in the Maheshwar fort and just few steps away from Ghar. Sagar is always ready to help and help in making local tour and also about itinerary for near by places. His suggestion for breakfast, lunch and dinner places are perfect. A preferred place for all upcoming visits too.

As a Single Women traveler I felt very safe in Raj Place. The Room was very clean. The service very good also the view from the hotel is beautiful. The fort is 2min away from the hotel. They have laundry service also.
