Makati Palace Hotel

Though they gave me the room that I requested which was near the elevator, their elevator was not working and they claimed that it is. I had to use the emergency elevator all the time which is very time consuming. They didn’t inform us that it was not working before checking in, they could’ve at-least offered another room on a different floor where elevators work.

During our stay at Makati Palace Hotel from December 23 to 24, we were disappointed due to serious cleanliness issues. Upon entering the bathroom, there was a strong unpleasant odor, which we later found was coming from the shower curtain. It appeared unwashed and possibly not replaced after the previous guest. Despite this, I proceeded to shower and contacted housekeeping afterward to request a replacement. Later that night, we discovered a blood stain on my child’s pillow. I have photographic evidence of this incident. At that point, I became deeply concerned about the hotel’s hygiene standards, as it seemed that room items may not have been properly cleaned or changed after prior use. Feeling uncomfortable and disgusted, I requested a room transfer from room (514 to room 603) and informed staff that if the next room had similar issues, we would check out and move to another hotel. Fortunately, the replacement room was clean. While the issue was resolved, the experience caused us distress, especially as we were traveling with a child. I hope management reviews housekeeping procedures to prevent this from happening again.

I had a pleasant stay at the hotel, the staff were warm and accommodating, and the food was delicious!

When we entered the hotel we immediately took noticed of this odd smell from the lobby all the way to the hallways and our room. Hope they could atleast invest in an air freshener/ humidifier so they could eliminate that odd smell around the hotel.  Second is the aircon isn’t really that cold and the internet is non-existent despite the fact that we called room service, they said a technician would come to fix it but no one showed up.

This isn’t my first time booking here; I often book here, and every time I’m in Makati, it’s so convenient and spacious compared to other hotels. They have parking too and kind staff. But now they dont have bathrobe hahaha before they have bathrobe. Its also near to PCAB, many good resto near. Cr with bathtub

It was a but old given the years of the building. But we really enjoyed our stay here, the staffs are accommodating and very helpful. Some amenities needs improvement and upgrade, also the carpet has a bit of smell upon entering the room and the hallway. But overall it's still recommended.
