Τhe White Houses

Beautiful accommodation, excellent location, just cross the road and you are on a fabulous blue flag beach in the shallow water of the bay. The apartment has everything you could possibly need and is spotlessly clean! The provisions supplied are plentiful and delicious! Nikos is very friendly and helpful and the whole experience was wonderful! We will certainly return. Excellent restaurants a stroll away and we loved Minas Place on the harbour.

We stayed 3 nights at the White Houses (July 7-10) at the Harbor apartment (ground floor as we have heavy suitcase). I had exchanged a couple of days before with Nikos the Manager due to the recent fire in the area of Ierapetra and hehe reassured me that Makrigialos was not affected by the fire. He welcomed us and showed us around. He is always available as his office is almost next door. The kitchen is fully equipped with a large fridge, a cooker, microwave cooker, dishwasher, kettle... a real kitchen. We found groceries on the kitchen table (bread, jam, biscuits, tea, coffee, sugar, fruits, cheese, milk, yoghurt and In the fridge milk, yoghurt, a bottle of wine. The apartment is in perfect condition, extremely well maintained and clean, and has every comfort (washing machine with a 15 min. program which is excellent), TV, iron, ironing board, wifi... There is a free parking almost next door in the old harbor. The place is very quiet as there are almost no cars passing (the street is limited to mainly locals). You have a beach opposite to the White Houses and plenty of restaurants or bars around. The place is safe and it was so nice seating outside enjoying the full moon. We will definitely come back to the White Houses.
