Sun Siyam Vilu Reef

We spent 9 days Feb/ March 2024 in sun siyam Vilu reef Resort and it was fantastic. The house reef amazing many many fishes nice corals turtles etc a big thanks to the team from the aqua restaurant, waiters and cooks the food was delicious all the days. We also thanks Kamal for taking care so nicely of our bungalow and the last days Rakesh for the water villa and Mr Didi thanks for having done our stay unforgettable . This was excellent experience in sunset reef villa. We have spent lovely 11 days. This was our honeymoon. We really recommend this hotel as a destination for relaxing and exploring. There is a lot of reef, colorful fish and more. We would like to thank especially our host Gulnaz who was taking care of us, the best housekeeping by Mathi, very friendly and professional waiter Dilshad and the funniest diver Solo who has shown us mantas, whale sharks and reef without fear. We would like to recommend all staff in the Aqua restaurant because everyone was very friendly and welcoming to us.

Amazing place. We had a beautiful experience with the family staying at Villa 111. Special thanks to our friend Habib who made us smile constantly and who kept our room beautifully clean! We are coming back next year for 10 days again for sure!

My wife and I booked a 10-night stay here for our honeymoon. We opted for the all-inclusive Emerald package, which includes drinks, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. While you'll have an amazing time without the package, we're so glad we did because we can honestly say that we experienced everything this resort has to offer! We stayed in three types of rooms: - Water Villa with Pool by the Sea - Grand Water Villa with Pool by the Sea - Beach Villa with Pool The rooms were clean, well-supplied with tea and a mini-bar, and exuded a sense of luxury, relaxation, and style. Cleaners came twice a day and they were always friendly and accommodating. Since it was our honeymoon, they left us cute messages on the bed most evenings and always provided extra drinks and towels upon requests as we engaged in a lot of water activities during the day. Dining Experience - there are three places on the resort to dine: Aqua: We had a great time at Aqua; the staff was always attentive in clearing the tables and serving more drinks. The kitchen offers live cooking, so whether you crave steak, fish, pasta, Indian dishes, or fried rice cooked fresh in front of you, Aqua has it all. Salads and desserts are also plentiful and freshly prepared. The main selling point of Aqua is the chefs and head chefs who regularly come over to your table to ensure everything is satisfactory. They even occasionally cooked off-menu items, showcasing their passion and love for cuisine. Thank you Chef Nittin, Rama, and Chaminda for your passion, service, and dedication to 5-star service. Spice: We also enjoyed dining at Spice. For lunch, it mainly serves Italian cuisine, and we particularly loved their Caesar Salad. In the evenings, we indulged in Indian cuisine, and I was especially impressed by the chicken soup. The service here was exceptional, and the team even knew our drink preferences. Despite a rare mistake with our main course, the team promptly rectified it, earning our respect even more. Thank you, Ali, and the rest of the service team. Special shout-out to Chef Mistee and Chef Sandeep for their amazing recipes. Well Done: We dined at Well Done for our honeymoon dinner, and it certainly lived up to it's name. The location is stylish, offering indoor and seaside dining. The food is delicious fine dining, with lunch menus changing daily for variety, while the evening menu offers a varied 4-course set. Once again, I commend the waiters and chefs for their exemplary commitment to service. Ammaday and Aami are my favorite staff members for their passion and enthusiasm. Water Sports Activities: As part of our package, we got to enjoy 1 hour of non-water activities every day, including kayaking, paddle boarding, and snorkeling. The resort had multiple staff on hand to help, support, and guide us. Thanks to them, I now consider myself a pro amateur paddle boarder! What a great vacation! The place is beyond this world and everything is thanks to all the people who work there to make your stay unforgettable! Everything was perfect! Many thanks to the scuba diving center, especially to Haneef, who was able to made us try scuba diving just within 5 minutes instructions and who was able to spot for us the biggest fish in the ocean to snorkeling with the whale shark, mantas Ray and dolphins . Wonderful holiday destination! I intended to try and keep this short, but I can't! We went to celebrate our 10th Wedding anniversary, and it was an amazing holiday! We chose a beach bungalow as my dream has always to step out on to white fluffy sand. We were allocated room 147, and to be honest, initially was disappointed as the sand is not as I'd expected, but I understand it's because of the reef, by the end of holiday it didn't matter and the location of the room was brilliant for snorkelling, which is what we had gone to do, right outside the room there was a lagoon, which shelved quite steeply and had some gorgeous fish in there. We were also on the right side of the island for the reef, we found entry point 1 and 2 the best, 3 nearly always had a red flag, but there was plenty to be seen at either of the points we used, depending on the weather. Our room was beautifully appointed and looked after by Kashem, twice a day we had fresh towels, water and fridge topped up and little sweep round to remove sand- he is also a demon with leaf letters! :) The food is amazing, breakfast is at the Aqua, you can have a fresh cooked omelette, fried eggs as well as various curries (!), the danish patries and cakes are delicious, if you get an outside table, there are sharks and fish swimming about too! We ate in Aqua restaurant most lunches, the choice of food is amazing, we had lunch at The Spice restaurant twice and that was lovely, dinner there was fabulous as well, it's quite nice to have dinner brought to you to eat at the same time! Well Done restaurant has a great menu, service sometimes a little slow, but that was quite nice instead of wandering around the buffet with an eclectic plate! We didn't need any adaptors as the plugs were all 3 pin, UK style and for plugs from other countries, adaptors were supplied. We took our own snorkels (the full face ones) and flippers so we had them available to us, and that is a good tip, reef boots and rash vests too. We also bought a cheap waterproof camera from Amazon for under £50 which was great. Clothing, not particularly formal and by the end of the holiday, I'd given up on shoes for dinner! The most special thing about this place is the staff, they are always smiling and happy to help. I have an extensive list of people to thank, who made our holiday so so memorable, Maihaan, Dilshad, Vijay, Tharinder, Rita and Manita at the Aqua, Sujita and Ranjith at the Aqua bar, Bhuwan and Nisha at the Nautilus bar to name a few. Really really lovely people, Maihaan and Dilshad have wicked sense of humours and really enjoy chatting, but they ALWAYS have their eye on the game - one night was so busy and they were so short staffed, but the smiles never dropped! Chef Charminder in the Aqua restaurant was so proud of his food and his team, lovely chap!

Beautiful island, gorgeous food, huge white beaches, spacious accommodations. Our housekeeper KASHEM kept our villa in a perfect condition. Thanks to the friendly staff around the island, especially those who hosted us during our visits in the restaurants.
