Constance Moofushi

From the moment the sea plane landed we were made to feel very special. It was like we were being welcomed to paradise by people who loved being there. Alison greeted us and showed us around the island and to our room. We had booked a beachfront villa and initially had reservations as we are sun worshipers and we got no sun in the garden. However we loved the room! It was rustic and very spacious. The bed was very comfortable and the softest best pillows we’ve ever slept on ( I want some for home!)The bathroom had two sinks a separate toilet and a wonderful outdoor shower. Our housekeeper Nazeeh was incredible. He checked with us on the first night for any special requirements,including customizing the mini bar to the items we wanted each day. He kept the villa inside and out spotless. The decoration he made on the bed for my husbands birthday was simply stunning. The island is stunning and everywhere so clean and tidy. The house reefs were great for novice snorkels. BD and Tiger looked after us at the water sports hut and taught us to paddle board. There were free excursions. We did the dolphin trip which was fabulous. We were supposed to be doing a sunset cruise but due to bad weather it had to be cancelled :-( The staff are all so friendly and helpful and always smiling. There are so many we could name as they were all brilliant! Most of them knew our names from day 1 and some of them Gopan,Nithin,Afraadh,Shaan and others knew what we liked to drink. The food was amazing. We normally don’t like buffets and prefer a la carte but the buffet here at breakfast,lunch and dinner was always great. Each night there was a different theme. Binju greeted us (such an asset to the resort) she knew where we liked to sit and always had time for a chat with us. A special mention to Priantha the head pastry chef (we don’t normally eat desserts) but the freshly made delicacies drew us in every meal time - every item we tried was delicious. If you like wine this is the place to visit. There is so much choice on the all inclusive menus. At each mealtime a sommelier comes to your table to discuss what you’re eating and then recommends a wine for you to try either by the glass or you can have a bottle in an ice bucket. You won’t be wanting/waiting for your glass to be refilled here.champagne is also included. A big thank you to Madu and his fabulous team. The island pays so much detail to ensuring all the guests are happy. We found there were numerous occasions where the resort laid on extras to make us feel special. At Aleeze restaurant Ritty was very chatty and attentive. Each time we dined there he got the chef to make an extra dish for us to try. He also ensured our moonlight dinner on the beach was special. It was my husbands birthday and we paid extra for the experience and it was so worth it. A very memorable evening. Just returned from Constance Moofushi and was over the moon with the resort and the staff who are absolutely lovely. We had an over water villa and regularly saw Manta rays swimming by. The beaches are stunning as is the food and bar areas. The gym is also very good indeed. I can honestly that this is the best holiday destination I have ever been. Absolutely stunning.

An absolutely amazing place. Our second visit and Constance Moofushi is as good as it gets. Beautiful, personal, world class and simply the best. My wife and I celebrated our honeymoon here in 2022 and it was a pleasure to return in 2024 to celebrate our anniversary. From the moment the seaplane lands and you see the smiling staff waving to you with a warm welcome, the sense of homecoming begins. We had the most fantastic time. The restaurants, the wonderful food and wine, the spa, all the activities and trips, all encompassed by the sheer beauty of the island, make this our special place in the world. But what takes this to another dimension of world class is by far, the staff. Every single person who works here cannot do enough for you. You genuinely sense the friendship, happiness and pleasure of being part of the Constance Moofushi family. We could mention so many of the team, but in particular we’d like to thank: Mevin and Manjula - wow you both have created a team that is proud to represent you. As well your dedication to us and every single guest, you have created a world class mentality for which you should be very proud. Maix - you are an absolute superstar. Your humour, your dedication and the love with which you looked after us was special. Thank you and good luck with your upcoming wedding. Dileep - you are a wonderful chef! Thank you so much for looking after us and ensuring, that as a vegetarian, you looked after me. We will always remember your beaming smile. Sam - you are a legend. The standard you set and the dedication with which you apply yourself is fantastic. Gopan - your memory is amazing. Thank you so much for the way you looked after us. You are top man. Ruwan - thank you for all that you did for us. You are brilliant at what you do. Spa Team - gracious and attentive. Relaxation at its best! Totem Bar Team - kind, funny and top service. Housekeeping Team - for looking after us and our temporary home so beautifully. We could go on and on! In our minds, you are all superstars. For anyone considering a visit to The Maldives, we highly recommend Constance Moofushi. We have visited many wonderful places in the world, staying in some fabulous places. This is our second holiday at Constance Moofushi. We absolutely love it! We really enjoy snorkelling and the house reefs do not disappoint. However, Ismail, who cleaned our room twice a day was a complete star. I also have to mention Mauro who took 4 of us out to a wonderful reef . It was truly remarkable and we were looked after superbly by Mauro and his team. Thank you to everyone at Constance Moofushi for making our stay so memorable. We hope to be back!! Sara U

We were the 3rd time at the Moofushi and it just gets better each time. All the staff has passion to make you feel at home. The house riff is great, we did see a lot of fish. And you have a great selection of different wine included in the all-inclusive package and great sommeliers to recommend you the right wine. I hope we will be back soon!

Lovely relaxing location. Meticulously kept comfortable Villa. Wide choice of delicious food and friendly staff, all of whom were great. The diving team made our holiday really special - snorkelling with Mantas was an experience we’ll never forget.

Just back from a marvellous 7 night stay at Constance Moofushi in the Maldives on way home after couple weeks in Far East. Moofushi really is everything it says it is ............... the island, beaches and sea are magical and it really is a little gem - some might even say paradise ! Stayed in senior water villa and it had everything you wanted and we were well looked after by Imal who ensured the villa was well kept and always managed to do it when we were out ! The food offering in Constance Moofushi is exceptional whether it is in the general restaurant or the Alizee fine dining restaurant. Like any good resort/hotel it is the staff that usually make the difference and they were exceptional in Moofushi and to name check just a few, the guides who took us on the snorkling, whale shark and dolphin trips deserve a special mention along with Stella (Reception), Sam (Restaurant), Head Chef in Alizee who came around to our table to have a chat & check everything was alright, and of course Imal who looked after our villa so well but really a big " thank you " to all staff in Moofushi for making us feel so welcome and for looking after us so well. We were surprised at the number of guests who were returning to Moofushi on a regular basis and we intend to do the same !

The most extraordinary place. Surpassed every expectation we had. We were looking for a resort with a relaxed atmosphere that still had a nice mix of activities, and here was perfect. The snorkelling is incredible, and there's plenty of space on each beach for some peace & quiet in the day. The Manta Restaurant buffet has an excellent selection of fresh food for each meal. The staff really make this resort extra special - they're all extremely attentive, polite and respectful. We were hosted by Yamey, and he continually went above & beyond to make our stay special. Gopan also gave us outstanding service behind the bar. We'll be back as soon as we can!

We looked for another island in the Maldives to visit for our second visit but we couldn’t find anything on paper that ticked all the boxes and I’m glad we returned to Moofushi as it was even better than it was before (2019). It was quite interesting talking to people who had been many times, one couple we met that week had been 11 times. It’s the location and the concept of course, but what really makes Moofushi work so well are the staff. Constance must work hard on their culture and training at this resort as the team are great, super friendly etc. We stayed for 10 days in a Water Villa. Some highlights: - The house reef if anything has more marine life than it did before - The snorkeling and dolphin trips - Wine tasting by the water - The Totem Bar as a lunch spot and evening drink - The food in the Manta restaurant Thank you Mevin, Gopan, Ko Ko, James, Binju and many more for making such a memorable trip and not our last!
