It was a beautiful island. From the airport reception to the final drop-off, the service was perfect and thoughtful. There were also many activities on the island. You could also go out to sea to see dolphins. It was a comfortable holiday.

Baros exceeded all expectations. We were greeted warmly by every single staff member, and honestly felt like royalty. Though we were only able to stay for 2 nights and 3 days, Anas made sure that we had a most unforgettable experience. It was a stop on our first year anniversary trip, something that we only quietly mentioned to our greeting staff when we arrived. Anas took that ball and ran with it, arranging for a private table on the beach for dinner, surprising us with a bottle of champagne and flowers in our room, and making us feel genuinely at home and cared for. The resort is lovely. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. The snorkeling off of the house reef is the best we have ever done - no need to take a boat trip! We will absolutely recommend this resort to anyone who asks. The service that Anas and his colleagues provided was first class and made the beautiful setting even that much more luxurious. We can’t wait to come back!

It's been a few days since vacationing on the Baros: swimming, luxurious restaurants and meditative contemplation of cloud views and listening to the water. We've had the wonderful total relaxation and steel feeling how deeply rested we are! We lived in a water villa, absolutely perfectly designed for photo shoots and visual enjoyment. Diane Vreeland's quote comes to mind: the eye has to travel. The presence of books in the villa, the staff's knowledge of different languages, the aromas and quiet music in the restaurants are surprising and a nice mark on the level of the hotel. Our personal butler Anas gave us a delightful welcome, we appreciated what it is to have a butler! The gym is equipped with the latest technology, but we did not even have time to get there, we were interested in the reef! And every morning waking up at dawn and drinking tea, we set off to explore marine life. And the morning buffet (one of the best in the world!) awakened the anticipation of the joy of this very buffet and appetite, just like in childhood. Thank you to the whole team, Mr. Shazeel who makes the island a paradise, especially Chef Pradeep, I didn't remember all the names but every single person without exception makes sure that the guests feel at home. We are very glad we chose this island and the reality exceeded our expectations!

privacy, picturesque views and feeling good all around. the baros resort is one of the oldest resorts in the maldives. you can feel the history and tradition - combined with modern comfort and feel good! lucky us, we had our private butler reema. she took care of us in a more than outstanding way. whenever you have the chance, try to get reema as your private butler! also marie from the diving center does a very good job. the snorkeling tour together with her was one of the many highlights at baros. we will be back!

Our second stay at Baros Maldives was outstanding, again. Enjoyed the snorkeling, as well as the food and drinks. Special thanks to the team at Baros who were accommodating and welcoming. Special thanks to Buddika, Upsi for great service and drinks and a big thank you to our butler Reema whose attentiveness, attention to detail and handling our every request swiftly, made our stay comfortable and memorable.

We have just had an absolutely fabulous stay at Baros. It exceeded all our expectations. Thank you to John and the whole of his Baros team. From the moment we arrived, our stay was made perfect by our villa butler Saeed - he made sure everything was just right. Thank you so much Saeed! We got to know so many of the staff during our stay including Gustia in the Lighthouse whilst enjoying our sundowners! Thank you Gustia! Baros is truly a special place. We will definitely be back next year. 😊

It is hard to praise this place enough. In nearly 50 years of travel, I have never been anywhere where I have been so well looked after with genuine warmth. The manager John and his whole team provide impeccable and very personal service. People seeking a busy, party-like vibe might find it too quiet, but the small size gave this place an intimacy that we loved. Yes, it's relatively expensive, especially if you are not on half-board, but you are paying for top-quality everything and a very high staff-to-guest ratio, making the value o.k. The food was superb with plenty of choice. I was stunned by the choice of breakfast buffet, especially as there was a big breakfast menu as well. We were very sad to leave and can't wait to go back.
