Reethi Beach Resort

It was a remarkable experience, we will never forget, people who work there are the friendliest, the best food every day, especially the bar tenders like dear Madu from the Handuvaru bar at the watervillas with who we shared a lot good energy and were best taken care of. The staff from the watersports center were amazing also, waterskiing and the best full moon night snorkeling with Bob, which i will never forget for it was very adventurous. We'd love to go there again best with all ourfriends with us, to have really good times there.

We spent 15 nights at this lovely resort and opted for the Sunrise Rooms,190 and 191 on an all inclusive basis. This side of the island has the biggest waves which we liked. The Sunset rooms on the opposite side is calmer but has less cover from the sun. We were celebrating my 80th birthday and my sister’s 70th with my daughter and granddaughter. This was my 3rd trip to the Maldives, previously 2014 and 2016 to different islands. The seaplane flight is amazing, such wonderful views of the other islands and takes around 40 minutes from Male. You off load to a pontoon and then transfer to a boat which takes about 6 minutes. The food is very good and varied and the restaurant staff are helpful and very friendly. English is used as the main language. The room plugs are all 3 pin and hairdryers are supplied in all rooms. The gift shop sells lots of gifts, clothes and is worth a visit or three. It also has restaurants that are not in the all inclusive option but can be booked and charge to your room. My granddaughter is an avid scuba diver and was amazed at the sea life she saw, mantas, turtles, stingrays, dolphins and sharks in the house reef. There is also a dive centre on the island. I have no hesitation in recommending this resort as we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The rooms are not 5 star but having said that they are comfortable and have everything you need. We hope to return in 2 years.

The "barefoot" experience was a total detox of modern living. No shoes, no hectic city sounds, no rush, no credit cards to carry. Just beautiful nature and soft sand underfoot. The reef and fish were stunning. Swimming in a rainbow of thousands of fish every day. We saw sharks and rays too. Staff were kind and helpful.

Beautiful Beautiful beautiful One of the the last to do the real barefoot style holiday, no loud music by the pool, (although there is a small bar which has ice creams too, perfect) so very relaxing, The main dining room is kept exceptionally well, nothing too much trouble, the chef's are fantastic, gorgeous foods, the st Patricks day pastries and cakes were amazing to look at, and the main bar is large , friendly and clean, the best view in the world to have a morning coffee, or a chilled out cocktail/wine, dont miss the feeding of the stingrays and sharks etc at teatime...sit on the wooden pier and be amazed. Sunset beach and bar is totally by far the best thing ive ever seen, our bungalow was on there

Best experience ever! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Reethi. We especially loved the spa (we couldn't resist the daily discounts) and the snorkelling experiences - we were blessed with lots of sharks and rays during our stay too. The food was also amazing. Having a gluten intolerance, and dairy free and vegetarian, the kitchen staff at all the restaurants on the island were extremely helpful and went above and beyond to ensure I ate well and had lots of options. A shout out to Aalam for welcoming us each morning with his warm smile, Rajesh for his tasty food but in particular Amaan and Majid. Amaan was so sweet and warm, and Majid for being an absolute boss, checking in with us and making sure everything was good

We enjoyed our visit... Everything was perfect for us. Especially the stuff was very friendly and open hearted. Thanks to Majid for the great service... And our surprise. We want to come back soon. The reef was clean and we could the a lot of turtles, reef sharks and dolphins. The dolphin excursion was a great experience, too. We hope that tourists will take care of this special place, especially the corals.

Loved being at this property with my kids. Despite the exhausting travel it was all worth the pain. The place is safe and super fun. You have a huge variety to indulge in during the meals. The villas are super comfortable. With a beach almost 10 steps away you have nothing to complaint about. My children will remember this vacation forever.

Such a great resort! It’s my second time here and after staying for 6 days I can say it’s so worthwhile to come back again. What really sets this resort apart is the staff. The staff is absolutely amazing, they know their guests and everyone is treated in a personal manner. We had the full board package. The buffet has an amazing variety of food. Special theme nights make sure there is always a favourite dish. We also did a few excursions and the area is amazing for snorkelling and diving. The house reef is beautiful and have a wide variety of marine life. It’s great for couples and families and there are a lot of sports and activities to do.

We visited Reethi Beach for the second time in February 2024 to celebrate a milestone birthday. The island was just as we remembered it from our first visit in 2018 - super friendly staff, comfortable accommodation and great food. We stayed in a deluxe sunset villa just a few steps away from the Sunset bar, so the perfect location. The only difference we found this time was that we were unable to walk completely around the island on the beach due to erosion in a couple of parts, but we understand this is common in the Maldives, with the sands shifting all the time. We are not great snorkellers but did swim in the sea every day and managed a bit of snorkelling close to the water's edge. Even so close to the shore there is so much sealife to see - we saw a small back tip reef shark a couple of times right on the edge plus an apparently pretty rare Cowtail stingray just at the edge of the water one day. One evening we saw a pretty large shark in the shallows as we walked back across the jetty from Moodhu too! We went Premium All Inclusive and ate most of our meals in Moodhu and Reethi Grill, with many visits to the pool bar for lunches. We also tried Saima Garden a couple of times but preferred Moodhu and Reethi Grill. The food was outstanding and the staff were wonderful. We were often served by Eema and Reefa in the grill and Moodhu, who always went out of their way to make our meals special. Special mention also to Alex and Mode in the pool bar, Ibbe in the main buffet restaurant, where we always ate breakfast and Areeb in the main bar, who made sure our glasses were always full! Of course, we also must mention Rahul in the Sunset bar who always knew what we wanted before we got there and had it ready for us! A wonderful, relaxing holiday - we shall return! Leave your shoes at home!
