Very nice resort.
I purchased a couple of nights in this resort for my sister as a birthday present. She had such a good time. The place is beautiful , it has amazing sunsets, big rooms, a big swimming pool, spa, and a good continental breakfast. It is the right place to relax. Next time I will try it for myself.

This is a very charming unique boutique hotel. We stayed in the Sahara suite. It was very large, clean and nicely decorated. The view and the sunsets from our private outdoor deck were spectacular! It is a very serene and peaceful place where the staff are extremely accommodating and helpful but give you privacy and let you do your own thing but are available if there is anything you need. The food was great and the free breakfast that was included in our stay was outstanding! If you are looking for some peace and quiet- this is the place! Also, fyi- this is located up on the hill with lots of bushes and trees so there are lots of mosquitoes- so bring some bug spray! * I will not take away from the 5 star rating but it should be noted that there are some things around the property that require repair. Some floor boards by the pool were loose and sticking up which could be a hazard, and there was also some tiles on the outdoor patio restaurant that were broken creating a pothole.

Beautiful peaceful retreat.
Room was lovely with amazing view.
Definitely needs some property maintenance .
We arrived 3 am after 3 long flights from Canada and Jonathan on desk at that time was awesome and had us in our room immediately!
Will come again!

This was once a fantastic place for high tea - the view, the quality of the food, the service - all 5 stars (or more). That was once, a few years ago. Not anymore. And please, don't blame this on the pandemic! After over a decade we visited Punta del Este this month and one of the first things we did was booking a high tea here. What a disappointment! Their Spanish site shows the complete high tea menu which they do not offer anymore. What they offer is a much lower quality and overpriced version of it. The 'crowning' of this outing was finding out that when you select the 'tea for two' option you only get one dessert. There are a number of significantly better priced and much better valued options these days. The only thing left that matches our fond memories of this place is their amazing view and gardens.

El hotel es muy lindo. La vista insuperable, uno de los atardeceres más lindos de Uruguay. La habitación era amplia. El servicio de limpieza impecable. La atención de todo el personal fue muy buena en todo momento. Es una pena que el área de gimnasio y piscina estén bastante descuidadas

Fuimos a comer a la noche. La vista elevada sobre el Lago Maracaibo y puesta del sol desde la terraza fueron espectaculares. Riquísima comida, risotto verde y delicioso y lomo La mesa con cubiertos de plata, las baguettes caseras riquísimas, la atención a los detalles extraordinaria. Todos los años volveremos a este lindisimo lugar
