This was one of the finest hotels I’ve ever stayed in (I’ve traveled to 27 countries and love staying in boutique hotels). The view at the pool and restaurant is unbelievable. The service was incredible and all the food and beverages we consumed were delicious. We also walked to the Sulphur Springs through the cocoa farm which was a very unique perk as well. 5 stars!

Likes:
a) the hotel was situated in a nice area of St. Lucia.
b) the staff were very friendly
Dislikes:
a) we felt trapped as travel and food costs were quite expensive
b) the resort could have shuttle service to the nearest town centre

Great property, central location to everything and staff was amazing. My only issue was sleeping. Please be advised it is an outdoor bungalow so you will not only here all of nature, but everyone's conversations and "activities" at night. It was extremely noisy and also felt like i had no privacy since i assumed everyone could here me as well. They do provide earplugs.
Birds did come in and out of room and we still got bit by mosquitos (even after spraying whole bed with bug spray each night prior to sleeping). I recommend making the mosquito net longer. There is no air conditioning and it rains a lot.
Outside the lack of sleep, everything else was nice. We enjoyed the beautiful chocolate and morning breakfast. Project chocolate was so much fun. High stars on everything, except sleep

Exquisite property. Pure relaxation. Everything was thought of- umbrellas, mosquito nets and repellents just in case (though wondering where are they?), beach towels. Small touches like chocolate cookies and yoga mats are available every day in the room for extra “chocolate covered” experience. We experienced the closest connection to nature as there are no tvs or acs. Falling asleep to the sounds of rain and waking up with birds singing made our stay extra relaxing and fulfilling.

You are guaranteed to experience some form of inspiration, renewal and decadence. All depends on how you’d like it.
The staff were wonderful , being courteous , helpful and welcoming throughout , with the tour being a highlight that shouldn’t be missed.

The property and the area was beautiful. The staff were friendly. Check in and check out was a breeze. Rooms were close to the reception bldg-same area as restaurant. There were several options for daily activities. The pool area was nice. They had a tranquility area where you could relax. There were several trails on the property that would lead you to different places. The breakfast was delicious. The chocolate tour is a must do. You could request taxi service at the front desk whenever you needed. This place was intimate and the views were amazing!

Don't be fooled - this is NOT a luxury resort! The several 10/10 reviews have to be fake, those ratings are ridiculous. The place maybe rates 2 or 3 stars, but I have given it 1 star to try to bring the "exceptional" rating down so others are not conned into thinking this place is a high quality resort... my wife and I have stayed in many Four Seasons-level resorts and this is not remotely in the same ballpark, despite the pictures and the fancy food photography. "Eco-friendly" means that there is no A/C and the rooms are hot, rancid with bug spray and have no screens at all, leaving the room open to all the bugs in the surrounding rain-forest (despite the choking spray). Even the floorboards and shower are open to the outside, so we had a lizard in the rafters above our bed, along with moths, mosquitos and ants. The food looks better than it tastes, and the nearest beach is a taxi ride away. We moved out after one uncomfortable night and moved to the Windjammer, which is on a whole different luxury level for about the same price. We're currently trying to get our money back for our prepaid 6-day booking at Chocolat, which was the biggest disappointment of my well-travelled life.

Luxurious, and tasteful hotel. Helpful, friendly, respectful and polite staff at the Hotel. Beautiful surroundings. Tour of the Cocoa plantation with chocolate making (bean to chocolate bar experience) was fantastic. Plenty to do in the area all arranged by the Staff at our request. Not for the faint hearted budget wise.
