The description of this guest home is very misleading, we should have done what other guests did, drove on. However we had prepaid and had dinner booked and there is no where else to eat nearby. There were no staff when we arrived, keys were there for us on the check in counter. We never did see any staff or any other guest. There was no dinner. Breakfast was laid out in the dining room but we never saw any one. All doors remain unlocked / open, it did not seem possible to close them without use of force, and no staff on site. Even to close the bed room door I had to use the full force of my body.

We booked through our travel agent as part of a salmon fishing trip. Without doubt the worst hotel, or guesthouse I’ve stayed in and we all left 2 days early. Dirty premises with no bar, spa or chef as described. No service either. The website is the former owners and the current owner hasn’t a clue what she’s doing and trying to trade on the past. Breakfast was sparse, with butter that was out of date. Lunch provided each day was either cold stew from the night before or cheap hotdogs and rolls. Dinner was very poor and two of my colleagues had upset stomachs one night. You should avoid this place at all costs - our fishing adventure was totally spoiled as a consequence.

The hotel is located in an old wooden building and you feel the atmosphere of previous times. Most of the rooms have its own bathroom, but some could need refurbishment. If you have a loud neighbour, you can hear everything through the walls. The curtains do not darken the room at all during summer months. Dinner and breakfast was very tasty, staff was very polite.

Booked a hotel with dinner but upon arrival only an envelope with a key and a tf-number 'if you need help'. Restaurant closes at 19.30hr (?) and everyone leaves then. tf inquiry tells us that we are 'too late' even though they knew about the flight and the 2hr drive. So we drive to Bardufoss ourselves to get something to eat. In the morning there was 1 person in the kitchen but could not and was not allowed to do anything. Only 'refund' of paid dinner still pending. Rooms are outdated, a lot of noise due to the furnishings. In short, not recommended on several levels.

We couldn't sleep in the hotel because nobody attended to us, despite having made a reservation and arriving at 4.30 in the afternoon. Nobody at reception and they didn't answer the bell or the phone. More than 3 hours later we had to go 20km away to another accommodation. They can't play with people like that. They're disgusting.

Described as fairytale-like, in reality only very old, old rooms (in one it rained inside) and common areas. The dinner based on fresh salmon was much appreciated but upon request we were told that they did not have any kind of bread. The breakfast was extremely poor. Outside the air is "impregnated" with mosquitoes that make going out a painful adventure. 2 stars only for the fresh salmon served at dinner, even if without bread

alors que j'avais réservé sur Booking en novembre 2021, j'ai eu la surprise d'avoir en mars un avis du propriétaire me disant que l'hotel était full booked et qu'il y avait eu un pb de croisement defichiers entre eux et Booking ( pourtant ma resa sur Booking était toujours bien valide ) voulait m'envoyer ailleurs dans la montagne !!! Et en arrivant chez eux , un groupe de 8 personnes s'est vu signifier devant nos yeux ébahis que leur repas du soir était tout simplement annulé et sans soluce de remplacement dans ce coin complètement isolé !!! L'employée qui doit gérer les frasques itératives de sa chef s'est lachée et nous a dit qu'elle avait donné sa démission car devait gérer sans cesse des pb de ce genre, ce qu'elle ne supportait plus . Donc établissement non fiable et à éviter si vous voulez passer de bonnes vacances

faisant partie d'un groupe, cet hotel restaurant est choisi par le voyagiste , le seul attrait est une vieille maison qui a dù avoir , par le passé une histoire fascinante de par sa propriètaire Amanda Sandmo fenêtre grande ouverte sans moustiquaire, attaque en règle et le top fut le déjeuner , nous avons été déçus avec l’assiette principale qui consistait en un potage avec un œuf à la coque coupé en deux. C’était bon mais pas consistant. je vous raconte pas la tête de ces messieurs restés sur leur aim
