Kuruva Island Resort and Spa - by Kabini Breeze, Wayanad

We stayed in this resort during 6-9 Jan-2024. 1) We had the most memorable holiday in this resort. The resort is beautifully done up with loads of greenery all around, lovely flowers all around the resort. The access to the river is a bit challenging from right behind the resort due to common public road but if one walks around 500mts there is a better access. 2)The rooms given to us were superb in terms of its location and amenities provided to us. The rooms are well done up, spacious, clean towels, linens. They were gracious enough to upgrade us to a better looking room on our one request, this was highly commendable and appreciated deeply. 3)The staff in this resort are the most amazing people we met in a long time, all of them show great warmth, always smiling. We had the most good fortune of meeting Mr Iqbal, one of the owners of this resort. Mr Iqbal is a very friendly and equally helpful person. I am told he visits frequently to check on guests to ensure everything is going well, such actions make this resort more welcoming. 4) We had the smoothest check-in with welcome drink and the room allotement was the quickest. 5) The food experience from the restaurant is a mix review for us. We enjoyed everything that is a local delicacy but anything beyond, the chef will need to work on to provide equal joy. We would like to thank first and foremost the Guard who opens the gate, he is the first impression you get when you enter the resort, he has an amazing smile(-:). thanking equally Jayaraj, Shalini, The ***ager at the Front office (sorry could not remember name) and all the staff in the restaurant area. Last but not the least, i must talk about the Jewel in the Crown of this resort, ANOOP. He is the most amazing person we have met in this resort. You can find Anoop mostly around the front desk to extend all kinds of help, right from offering services to click your family pic or group pic, or to chit-chat about the resort or the surroundings. He has great knowledge about the entire area and can guide you with anything you will ever need to make your stay comfortable. Anoop takes the guests for Safari ride and he is too good in identifying all sort of animals or birds. We had one of most amazing village tour with him, it will take a long time to fade from our memory the kind of sceneries we saw on our way, entire credit goes to Anoop. I would strongly recommend anyone going towards Wayanad to explore this wonderful resort, its definitely one of the best in the region that we could find. Thanks once again the entire team of Kuruva Island Resort & Spa, we would definitely like to come back again.

Staying at the Kuruva Island Resort and Spa was an awesome experience. As someone who loves both adventure and relaxation, I found the resort to be the perfect spot to enjoy both. The cool, laid-back vibe of the place was contagious, and it made our family vacation extremely enjoyable. The resort’s design integrates beautifully with the natural environment, providing breathtaking views and spaces to unwind. The food at the resort deserves special mention. Every dish served was a mix of vibrant flavors that showcased the best of local cuisine, with each meal prepared to perfection. The portions were huge, ensuring that we were always full and happy. The dining area’s ambiance, coupled with the attentive service from the staff, made each dining experience memorable. The staff's friendliness added greatly to our stay. They were always on hand to help, showing great initiative and care in their interactions. Their recommendations for activities and their eagerness to assist in any way possible were particularly impressive. The resort is fully accessible, which was important for us, as it ensured that all areas were easily navigable for my mother. This thoughtful design underscores the resort’s commi**ent to inclusivity. Given the excellent facilities, great food, and outstanding service, the cost of the stay felt very reasonable. We definitely received great value for our inves**ent. The promise of returning to Kuruva Island Resort and Spa is not just a plan, but a goal, as it’s a place that offers a perfect escape from everyday life.

Our family's stay at Kuruva Island Resort and Spa from April 28 to May 1, 2024, was an experience we cherish deeply. As a wheelchair user, I found the resort's commi**ent to accessibility not just reassuring, but empowering. The seamless pathways and the attentive staff ensured that I could enjoy every part of the resort without any hassle. The ambiance of the resort struck a perfect balance between luxury and comfort, enveloped by an a**osphere that captured the tranquil beauty of its surroundings. The weather during our stay was splendid, with clear skies and a gentle breeze that added to the serene experience. The culinary offerings at the resort were a true delight. Each meal was crafted to perfection, combining local flavors with impeccable presentation, and the portions were more than generous, ensuring we were satisfied after every meal. The dining staff was particularly noteworthy for their courteous and timely service, always ensuring our needs were met with a smile. Our interactions with the resort staff were always positive, with each member ready to assist with genuine warmth and professionalism. This made our stay not only comfortable but truly memorable. Considering the quality of services and the exceptional experiences we had, the cost was undoubtedly justified. We left the resort with beautiful memories and a firm resolution to return, confident that it would be just as wonderful the next time.

Everything was so nice it was so relaxing. They had ***y activities like trecking,safari and zipplining and ***y more activities and it was so fun staying here. The food was so good had there was indoor and outdoor games as well. My family and I loved it so much.

The stay in Kuruva island resort was awesome. We had taken our pet as well. The stay was very comfortable. Food was good. I suggest this to ***y. We had gone for night safari could spot ***y animals. The stay was very good. Enjoyed every bit of it.

The property and ambiance is very nice and well maintained. The staffs are friendly. The pool villa was amazing, had beautiful time. There are good spots to click pics. River side was nice and peaceful. The candle night dinner was nice and had a good experience.

Pet friendly place. Difficult to get good ones and this was one to enjoy the long weekend. Stayed in 'Honeymoon Cottage' and one could hear river from the sit out place. And one could be on the riverside in 2mins from the gate. Rooms had wifi and speed was good. Food was good: Kerala ****ta was awesome. People are warm. From those who greeted us at arrival to one who jumped into the jeep immediately to take us on the safari: Thanks.

A huge applause to the Kuruva island resort for giving us such a comfortable and pleasant stay All the staff were very courteous and friendly and the food was really good and we had just spent one night but no flaws at all Thanks to Guru ,Sreedevi and Nithish and one young chap from the kitchen who always approached with a Smile They had a good spa where we had a relaxing foot massage The Jaccuzi rooms were very well maintained and kids had a good time There was a river behind the property and it’s a beautiful place to create Instagram posts Overall it’s a hidden gem in Kuruva Island

The restaurant staff was very helpful and gave a great service thoroughout our stay. Food was good and had variety. Enjoyed the badminton court and pool time. Had all the necessary facilities in place. Overall satisfactory with my stay there.
