The hotel's condition leaves much to be desired, but we were prepared for that. The main advantage of this hotel is its location. The service and staff are also good.

What a disaster of a hotel. First they wanted us to pay a deposit of 2000P having not put that in their conditions of booking. (We didn't pay it). There was no wifi even though it was heavily promoted. When shown to the room there was no water for making coffee though they provided nescafe and a kettle. One of the cups still had lipstick on from a previous user. The place was generally dirty. Only one toothbrush kit was provided for two people. The shower had one setting. On or off. You couldn't change the temperature (though it was warm enough). The bathroom floor had wall tiles which were very slippery when wet. Really dangerous. The breakfast was OK though they served nescafe and the service was very slow. And the hotel is in desperate need of renovation. (it was last renovated in 2012). Upkeep has obviously been minimal since then. One piece of good news to end with: We are told the front desk is open 24/7 before it adds if you intend to arrive outside those hours you should let the hotel know in advance. Make of that what you will! Will I stay there again? Definitely not. Ever!

No wifi at the location, cannot dial the reception easily, need to visit them at the ground floor to raise my concerns.

Location is good , just few minutes walk to the key site seeing location. I spent one night only, the next day can start to move around the city inside the walls. If you don’t want to walk , simply hop on the cycle or rent a bamboo bike 😉

Just quite run down, so didn’t appear super clean. Really central location for the old part of the walled city but local bar was right outside and quite noisy. Though it did not run too late.

Though the rooms need renovations and better cleaning, this is a budget hotel, after all. So, you will get what you paid for. The best part of this hotel is the location within Intramuros. Despite the hot and humid weather, I was able to walk to key sites withing Intramuros. The reception seemed to lack in its tour arranging ability, but I was able to charter a TukTuk at a nearby museum, to go all the way to Malacañan Palace area.

The only thing going for this hotel is its location and crew. It's a budget hotel so don't expect much. To be fair, they have huge rooms but linen, pillows and towels have seen better days. If you want extra pillows, they will charge you about $2 for two pillows, which is too soft as well but better than just having one. It's an old structure so they have no elevator.

The hotel is great if you're actually going in the Intramuros area. It's very close to all the interesting places. As for the hotel, it really has value for money because it has strong wifi, there's more than one tv station, there's a lot of sockets for your charger, there's a mini ref, and there's even a blow-dryer! However, I would suggest for a pail and tabo and/or a bidet. I like that they allowed us to place our stuff on the hotel as we went around Intramuros and Ermita prior to leaving for the airport. Would definitely stay here again.
