Great place top stay. Stunning views. Clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms. Breakfast tray is a nice addition, really welcomed. Really close to the beach and local pub. Free car park is a bonus. Thank you for your hospitality! We will come back!

Great little hotel. There are staff around daily for room cleaning, other than that it's unstaffed. It's in a great location a short downhill walk away from the beach. Although, as I say, coming back up it's on a steep incilne (the whole village is on a hillside), so if you have mobility problems it could be difficult to walk back up. The Ocean View Room is tastefully decorated with everything you need for a break away and the complimentary breakfast trays were tasty and greatfully received.

An older house converted into multiple rooms. Very clean. Well equipped. No interaction with staff as everything is via email and key codes for access. Fresh muffins in the room, which was a pleasant and welcome surprise. The shower was a weak electric model and no plug provided for the bath, otherwise I’d have given it five stars for the value proposition.

Booked three nights at Highcliffe as a base to explore the Welsh coast and couldn't fault this small, boutique-style hotel. Nothing was too much trouble for the friendly, professional staff who were focussed on ensuring customers had the best experience possible - thank you Donna and Jess! Rooms vary in size but are comfortable, tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean!

The hotel is beautiful, super clean and serviced completely satisfactorily. The sea view room was to die for. The bathroom is gorgeous, the complimentary breakfast high class........ however, at 2.15 am a male arrived in an adjacent room speaking loudly on a mobile phone. It was as if he was in the same room as us. Other noises emanated from the adjacent room throughout the night. This rendered us unable to sleep at all. Surreal and disconcerting, hollowed-out and sleep deprived we left to return home, knackered, to our bed at 3pm today.

Charming larger pub. We had an upstairs rear facing room that was just great. Nice bathroom with a great shower. Nice big room with a super comfortable king bed. Good speed wi fi at 24mb/sec. Breakfast was fresh cooked and excellent. Dinner was really good and staff could not be more helpful to our special requirements. All in all, could not have been happier, except would have loved a fridge, but that is rare in pub rooms.

This is a staffless hotel - we were a bit dubious in advance, but actually the room was lovely... what was described as 'a glimpse of the sea' from our room (Room 2) was actually a very good sea view... the place has been extensively refurbished and the cleanliness was outstanding. And at £75 per night for a good-sized, comfortable double, very reasonable. The bathroom and shower were of a very high standard too. Road noise can be a bit obtrusive in the mornings, but we were highly satisfied and shall recommend.

Perfect stay! Easy to find with convenient on site car park. The room was nicely decorated, spacious and spotlessly clean. Ours had a sea view. Two beautiful sandy beaches within walking distance and we walked along the coastal path (stunning scenery) to the next village. Breakfast tray was a nice touch and lots of hot water. Would stay again.
