We arrived at about 1615 at the Hotel Careyes. Jose greeted us and checked us in. We got our key and went to our room, 103. When we opened the door, we saw a room with no windows. It was like a cave, claustrophobic. We immediately went downstairs and asked José if he would change our room to one with a window to the outside world, that our room was claustrophobic, like a cave, and that we were uncomfortable with it. He shrugged his shoulders, shook his head, and said, “ No, l can’t change your room.” He was completely dismissive and uncaring. With the help of our Google Translate, we repeated how uncomfortable and claustrophobic the room made us feel. He just shook his head , “ No,” again, and repeated that he would not change our room. He appeared to us to be not concerned or interested at all in helping us. Unlike the name of the Hotel suggests, “ Care, Yes ! “, Jose was “ Care, No, “ After we begrudgingly and reluctantly returned to our dungeon, I went downstairs and I said to Jose that I was very upset with him. He just shrugged his shoulders again and looked away. Needless to say, Hotel Careyes will drop to the bottom of our list of places to stay in the future !

Desde el check in el personal es muy amable y atento el chico de la recepción me mostró algunos cuartos y escogimos uno muy cómodo, siempre estuvieron pendientes de nuestras necesidades. La habitación es muy amplia y bonita con todos los servicios lo cual facilitó nuestra estancia ahí, agradable y acojedor y con una excelente ubicación cerca del malecón y a unas cuadras del centro de la cuidad. Restaurant muy bonito con su característico olor a café por las mañanas muchas gracias a todo el personal del restaurant que nos atendieron de maravilla en especial a la señora Petra reyes encargada del lugar que fue una excelente anfitrión. Recomiendo ampliamente este hotel yo me dedico a la hotelería en la riviera maya y este hotel no le pide nada a ningún hotel dentro del top en la riviera maya felicidades a todas las personas que hieron de nuestra experiencia algo inolvidable

falta de cuidado,las puertas del baño estaban sucias, se salía el agua de la regadera y tuvieron que subir a revisar el baño, porque el tanque de agua no llenaba, no me gusto; sin embargo el desayuno que ofrece el restaurante es excelente.
