Quelle expérience, quelle rencontre et quelle belle demeure! Carlos et son épouse nous ont très bien reçu avec toute la sympathie portugaise rencontrée pendant notre périple. Que dire de négatif ? Rien. Tout est bien Tout d'abord l'accueil de Carlos qui parle le français, puis de sa charmante épouse qui se met en quatre pour vous satisfaire. Ensuite le cadre au milieu de la nature et le silence qui l'accompagne. La propreté et la beauté de l'intérieur de la ferme tout en pierre. Enfin et ce n' est pas rien le petit déjeuner. Celui-ci est digne des meilleurs hôtels et je pèse mes mots à cette différence près que les 5 gâteaux ainsi que les 4 confitures sont fait maisons. Tous avec des saveurs hors des sentiers battus. Une très belle expérience, continuez dans ce sens.

La Quinta est en pleine campagne au milieu des amandiers, des vignes et des oliviers. Le propriétaire et son épouse sont adorables. Lui est aussi guide pour visiter les sites préhistoriques des environs. Attention pour y aller ne pas prendre la voie rapide qui n’a pas de sortie vers la quinta mais plutôt la route nationale qui la borde. La maison est une propriété de famille superbe. L’accueil est chaleureux, le propriétaire parle français. Il nous a fait goûter son porto excellent et visiter sa propriété. Il nous a recommandé un restaurant ouvert le mardi “café Foz” en ville. Le petit déjeuner est copieux, jus de fruit, charcuterie, fromage, pain, croissants. Très bon séjour.

Eine sehr schöne und geschmackvoll mit alten Möbeln und Utensilien eingerichtete Unterkunft. Die Verständigung war schwierig, da wir nur Englisch und Deutsch können, die Gastgeber nur Portugiesisch, Spanisch und Französisch, aber mit den wenigen Brocken Englisch, das die Leute können, und Google-Übersetzer sind wir klar gekommen. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein Gläschen hauseigenen Portweins, das sehr lecker war. Wir haben dann gefragt, ob wir davon eine Flasche kaufen können. Sofort wurde uns eine abgefüllt. Trotz Rückfrage wurde sie bei der Abreise nicht berechnet. Auf die Frage, ob sie wüssten, wo man Führungen zu den Petroglyphen im Coa-Tal buchen könne, wurde das sofort organisiert. Das Frühstück war exzellent und reichhaltig. Einziger Wermutstropfen war das leider sehr harte Bett.
