This lodge is truly unique and exceptional. The owners are some of the kindest, most genuine people you’ll ever meet—they clearly care deeply about their guests and go above and beyond to make your stay special. You won’t find better hosts anywhere. The food is absolutely delicious, and the service is top-tier. Enjoying breakfast on the patio, surrounded by wildlife, was the perfect way to start each day—an unforgettable highlight. I’m already looking forward to coming back, especially to share this place with my nephews!

A unique place surrounded by nature and only a 5 minute walk to the viewing deck overlooking Crocodile river. The decor at the lodge is fabulous and the wonderful owners have thought of every detail. The owners( Willy and Rita) are what really make the place so special. I can’t wait to go back.

Beautiful location and beautiful people. The owners are fantastic people, kind and welcoming. They also take care of all your needs. I’m celiac and I could eat everything, they cooked separately for me the thing that I couldn’t eat (also the food was excellent). I will come back for sure!!! Highly recommended!

Wielewaal Bush Lodge is one of the most unique places I’ve ever stayed, and I’ve been to 46 countries. The staff is extremely welcoming and hospitable. All food is homemade and delicious every time. Every day I looked forward to eating a nice breakfast outside with the zebras and a dinner around the fireplace. Overall great experience and truly authentic and peaceful African atmosphere. Perfect place to meet other travelers as well. Would come back again

This lodge is very personable and the hosts are just wonderful people. Have breakfast with the wild animals and take in everything around you in the bush. Dinner was exceptional every night and there was a lot of food for all guests. There's so many pieces of Rietta's childhood that it's just amazing to look at everything, like you're in a museum of South African history. The food is prepared daily for each meal with the freshest ingredients on the planet. Everything in the rooms worked fine. Water pressure was top notch and daily cleaning was exceptional. This IS the most amazing lodging I've ever stayed at and I've been to 56 countries. YOU MUST COME HERE TO SEE WHY THIS PLACE HAS A 5 STAR RATING ON TRIPADVISOR.

Very hospitable, lovely hosts. Beautiful lodge with a bonus of wildlife freely roaming around. Dinner in the boma is also highly recommended, food is excellent and the whole vibe is simply lovely.

We usually try to stay in the Kruger and decided to try something different with Wielewaal Bush Lodge in Marloth Park. We enjoyed thoroughly our stay. Great hospitalily from Willy and Marietta with a beautiful boma dinner. Great taste in the deco. And it is a perfect place for children. Our 2 years old enjoyed seeing the zebras, wildebeest and warthog from close.

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights and I wish we could have stayed longer! It was by far the best lodge I have ever stayed in. The staff are all very kind, welcoming and respectful. The owners are very dedicated, present and attentive to the little things with the guests. The rooms are comfortable, beautiful and very clean. There are many animals that we visited, it was exceptional! I 100% recommend this place and I would gladly return!
