Upon arrival it turned out that there was not enough parking space as we had been told. These are just public parking spaces and not secured. This meant that we had to walk 10 minutes to and from the car. It also turned out that we had a different room than the room that was indicated on ***********. The hygiene was also far from being found. They solved this by giving us an upgrade but for an additional fee. Absolutely fine. Upon arrival in our new room it turned out that the balcony door could not be locked. I did not feel safe because of this, the answer from the hotel was: that someone was always watching the cameras and that it was really very safe. (During my stay, when I left and came back, I only occasionally saw someone sitting at the computer in front of the cameras). The safe is not anchored in the wall, so anyone could enter via the balcony door and just grab the safe. After strong insistence and 2 trips to the reception and 2 visits to our room, they finally called a technician. It was a bit odd that we had to spend so much time on it, I think you can assume that the doors can be closed. This room also seemed to be in a state of disrepair. The sinks are made of cement and painted, which causes dirty stains in the sink. The shower is also painted and is flaking off. And because it is painted, you can see all kinds of stains on the shower wall (from what? I have no idea, but it was dirty). The limescale on the taps does not make things any better. There is a piece of paper on the toilet that says “disinfected for you” but you can still see the stains on the toilet seat. The only thing that was better was the number of m2. After 3 days we could move to another room (which we paid for) but we did not want to use it anymore because we thought that it would not get any better after 2 dirty rooms and we tried to talk to the manager and the receptionist the afternoon before. This indicated that despite us wanting to check out early and talk about the situation in a civilized manner, there was nothing left to do, and so we also lost the 200 euro upgrade - which we no longer wanted to use due to their negligent cleaners. The room is only “cleaned” upon arrival and after that there is no more cleaning service. Breakfast is only from 9:30 and is not free, while you have no possibility to prepare your own food. The hotel is advertised as new, but upon arrival everything is worn out. The walls are worn out, the floors have questionable stains and you are afraid that you will get mold in the bathroom. All in all, staying in this hotel really ruined our vacation, I also got questionable bumps on my feet and I did not go to a swimming pool (I firmly believe that this is due to the poor hygiene of the bathroom) While we did pay 800 euros (with upgrade so 1000 euros in total) for 7 days. I realize that I am in Turkey; but with this price per night I have a new hi
